HOLLYWOOD, CA- Bolstered by the impressive sales success of their AVN award winning movie Corruption, Sex Z Pictures has hired Abby Powers to an executive sales position.
Powers’ formal title will be Director of Customer Relations but she will also head up Sex Z Pictures’ rapidly expanding broadcast and foreign rights division and work out of the company’s Manassas, Virginia headquarters.
Powers comes to Sex Z Pictures with a background in upscale residential real estate sales in the Virginia area and was intrigued enough to consider a career move when Sex Z Pictures’ CEO Bo Kenney inquired.
“Abby is a very smart person with an easy going manner which is perfect for our expanding company. She is beautiful, intelligent and filled with determination and has all of the qualities we are looking for as we enter the new frontier of adult sales which includes heavy emphasis on licensing content,” Kenney said.
“I was really impressed by Sex Z Pictures and with Bo when I first interviewed. His lengthy history in the adult entertainment industry is very interesting and when I was thrown into the fire at the AEE, it was really exciting meeting many of the buyers and the colorful personalities. We had a great booth with a lot of excitement and this coming year looks to be amazing.”
Powers comes to Sex Z Pictures just as the company is exploding with top product and heavy sales. “I really picked a great company to be with especially when you consider that Corruption won seven AVN Awards including best feature movie at the AVN Awards. This is really exciting and I look forward to talking with all of the buyers and licensing agents worldwide.”
Having a beautiful female in an historically male empowered lead sales and licensing position works if that person is smart and creative and Powers seems to be a perfect fit for Sex Z Pictures.
“Our future is in global sales and putting our content into the right pipelines and Abby will be working in that capacity for Sex Z Pictures as well as traditional DVD sales”, Kenney remarked.
