Simulated sex contest at Club Overboard advertised on plane banner

[www.sun-sentinel.com]- Destin, Florida “Hey, Mommy, what’s simulated sex?”

Not the question you want to hear from your kid who has just seen it advertised on a plane banner, flying over the beach.

That’s what’s happening in the blue skies of Destin, where a plane pulling a banner advertises a “simulated sex contest” at Club Overboard, reports Northwest Florida Daily News.

“I am aware that the world has trashed ‘family-friendly’ values but this is ridiculous,” wrote Chris Chapman of Madison, Miss. “I would hope that you agree and are interested in working with the Club Overboard to improve your image.

“If not, we will be pursuing vacations elsewhere,” she wrote.

But the Chamber can’t do a thing.

“We have no enforcement power and it’s not against the law,” the chamber head said. “It brings in free speech, and the Constitution doesn’t govern morals.”

We’re thinking offended folks should try Miami for their next getaway. It’s got the “Bang Bus,” where they’re doing the real thing.

That city makes Destin look like a prissy school girl.
