Charlotte, NC — SocialKink, the kinky social networking site for the fetish community, is showing its support Edmonton’s revival of the ancient holiday of Lupercalia with a gift of swag and a donation for its silent auction.

Now in its tenth year, Lupercalia is a weekend conference of fetish, BDSM, and Leather workshops in Edmonton, Alberta Canada with a taste of ancient Rome. The event’s theme is built around the ancient Roman Lupercalia festival, honoring gods Faunus and Lupercus, as well as the city’s mythical founder, Romulus. Lupercalia MMIX will include workshops, guest speakers and a silent auction.

Along with SocialKink brand swag, the fetish community site also sent along a high quality wooden paddle to be raffled off at the event’s auction.

“We like to support the fetish community in all its incarnations,” says SocialKink’s Suzann Knudsen. “Lupercalia is not only a fun fetish event but one with a creative historical touch. We’re very excited to be a part of this event in some way.”
