Ben Rush, Co-Chief Content Officer and Chief Creative Marketing Officer for Falcon|NakedSword, is scheduled to host a fundraising event at the Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The event, titled "Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Gay Adult Films ... but Were Afraid to Ask! An Intimate Evening With Falcon|NakedSword’s Ben Rush," will take place on Wednesday, November 11, at 6 p.m.

Event Details and Purpose

The event is described as "a provocative and entertaining evening" where Rush will discuss the gay adult film industry. Topics are expected to include the creative process, personalities, challenges, and stories from behind the scenes. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, with the event description stating that "No subject is off-limits, and no question is too wild to ask.”

Tickets for the 21-and-over event are $60 per person. Each ticket holder will receive a swag bag valued at more than $150, courtesy of Falcon|NakedSword, Fleshjack, Jo, and Skull & Bones NYC. The contents of the swag bag include a full-year membership to the Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library, a DVD of Falcon|NakedSword’s film Eat the Rich, and a signed copy of the companion novella, Eat the Rich: First. Also included are a complimentary one-month subscription to NakedSword.com and a bottle of Jo lubricant. Attendees will also have a chance to win either a Fleshjack toy molded from a Falcon Studios star or an exclusive limited-edition Falcon|NakedSword item.

The event is a fundraiser that supports LGBTQ+ cultural institutions. A representative for the Stonewall National Museum, Archives, and Library stated that every ticket purchase directly benefits Stonewall at a time when government funding has been withdrawn and support for LGBTQ+ cultural institutions is increasingly uncertain. The representative added that this special evening offers guests the opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture while helping ensure that the community’s history and experiences remain visible and accessible for generations to come.

Robert Kesten, President of the Stonewall National Museum, Archives, and Library, stated that as government attacks on LGBTQ+ rights and freedom of expression increase, the organization is deeply grateful for the support of Falcon/Nakedsword and Ben Rush, and for their shared commitment to protecting the First Amendment. Kesten added that their meaningful support helps ensure that stories are impossible to erase. Kesten also stated that at a time when censorship and attempts to silence the community are growing, this partnership makes clear that the freedom to tell stories must be defended.

Rush expressed enthusiasm for the fundraiser, stating that people have all kinds of ideas of what goes on behind the scenes in adult entertainment, and the reality is much funnier, stranger, and more interesting than they imagine. Rush added that he is looking forward to sharing stories, answering questions, and having some laughs while supporting an organization that does important work preserving the LGBTQ+ community’s history.
