Hollywood, CA- With a couple of days of relaxation following her whirlwind trip to Las Vegas, superstar adult performer Sunny Lane found time to enjoy her first-ever AVN Award win.
Nominated for numerous awards including the coveted Female Performer of the Year and Crossover Star honors, Sunny truly appreciated her win for Best POV Scene and didn’t seem disappointed when she didn’t take home either of the other two marquee awards.
“This is really an honor getting an AVN Award and with it being my first I’m happy it was for a sex performance which really is what this business is all about. I plan on having a great year in 2008 so look for me doing all sorts of interesting projects over the next twelve months and hopefully with a little luck, I’ll be right back in Vegas with more nominations,” she rejoiced.
Sunny’s AVN win was for Best POV Scene where she ripped up the screen in Goo Girls 26 for Rodnievision/Exquisite. The Déjà vu contract star let it be known that she’s all about the sex, “I really enjoy doing POV scenes because there’s just something dirty about it. I love having sex and looking into the camera because it turns me on,” she said.
Meeting fans and business associates during the AEE at the Jules Jordan Video booth and also at the IMlive.com booth was just part of Sunny’s busy Las Vegas schedule as she took part in business dinners and filled her late nights with co-hosting parties before settling in for the highly anticipated AVN Awards at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
“Each year the award show gets bigger so it’s really cool that I was included with so many nominations. It’s nice to win but you can’t win them all but you can sure try,” stated the ever-happy former professional ice-skater turned adult performer.
Sunny was also featured during a segment now playing on television’s G4 network about the AEE 08. Wearing a G4 t-shirt, Sunny was interviewed and asked about life as a porn star and also about some of the secrets to shooting sex scenes.
