Porn Valley- Earlier this week Sunny Lane made an appearance on The Adam Carolla Show. Lane was on the show to promote Rock ‘N Roll Bingo for The PAW [Protecting Adult Welfare] Foundation.

“It’s for everybody to come out and support the people of the adult industry,” said Lane. “If anybody is getting off drugs and getting into a healthy lifestyle and a nice home, they [PAW] help them out and they take care of them anyway that they can.”

Carolla was under the impression that there was some kind of retirement house for porn actors.

“That’s so funny,” said Lane. “There’s some people in the industry who have gotten off the beaten track and you just want to help them get back on so they live a healthier lifestyle.” Lane said the Rock n’ Roll bingo would be from 6 to 10 at Crane’s Hollywood Tavern, 1611 N El Centro Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028, between Selma and Hollywood.

“Yorgi” the resident Romanian pornographer on the show asked Lane why would anyone want to get porn stars off drugs. Carolla and he started talking about POV and Carolla thought that was creepy holding a camera and getting your joint worked. Lane said the POV style is her favorite and her first movie ever was one for New Sensations: POV Fantasies.

“I had it all set up like a picnic and my man came in,” she explained. “I was talking to the camera and going to town.” According to Yorgi, the big no-no in POV is a glimpse of the guy’s pubic hair.

“That’s a real drag,” said Yorgi noting that a guy’s mangy pubes kill the illusion. Carolla said to be a strawberry blond and to have black pubes is also a real deal breaker.

It was suggested to Sunny that if she plays her cards right, she could wind up in one of Yorgi’s pictures.

“It could take you to the next level.”

Lane asked if he did well.

“In Romania eet’s whole deefrent ballgame,” Yorgi said in a Trannsylvanian accent. “It’s a sliding scale of presteege. For instance, in Romania just to be employed is very presteegious. To be prostitute is extra presteegious. Porn star- huge- it’s like being Katie Couric here.” Yorgi said he had both a condo and a time share in the Carpathian Mountains.

“I don’t know what it is but you have it,” Yorgi told Lane.

“I’m a shining bright light,” said Lane. “I just love to shine on everybody.”

“You have a tweenkle in your eye,” Yorgi also told her.

“That’s why I’m Sunny Lane,” Lane replied. Carolla heard that Lane used to do figure skating. She noted that she was a professional ice skater as well as a Yoga & Pilates instructor before she got into the business.

“How do you make a living- or maybe you don’t- as a professional ice skater?” Carolla asked her. “Did you go on tour?” Lane said she was competing in Pro-Am and coaching kids.

“Hockey, figure, you name it,” said Lane. “The Tampa Bay Lightning team- I coached all their kids.”

“It would be really funny and ironic if you were on one of those Peanuts on Ice shows,” said Carolla. “Yeah, I was Linus. Now I’m doing hardcore.” According to Lane, ice dancing was her favorite. So Carolla wondered how she got into porn. Lane said she had bunion surgery a few years ago.

“It’s no fun, unfortunately,” she said. “But I was blessed that I got to be in the sport as long as I was.”

“And your podiatrist suggested porn,” said Carolla. Lane said she still wanted to be in entertainment and make good money so she got into stripping.

“I went to dance at Deja Vu in Tampa, Florida,” she continued. “And I became Showgirl of the Year the first year I was there back in 2004.”

“We recruit a lot of girls from bunions,” Yorgi interjected.

“That’s a horrible name for a strip club by the way,” Carolla mused.
