SPARTANBURG, South Carolina — from www.wmtw.com- The man accused of setting the Grand View Topless Coffee Shop in Vassalboro on fire was arrested in South Carolina on Wednesday as a fugitive from justice.

Police had been looking for Raymond Bellavance Jr. for the last month, since he was released from jail in Maine on an unrelated charge.

Jail officials at the Spartanburg County Detention Facility in South Carolina told New 8 Bellavance was arrested without incident at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday and had already waived extradition by late Wednesday.

That means he will be brought back to Maine to face an arson charge.

Police say Bellavance burned down the Vassalboro business where his girlfriend at the time worked in June 2009.

The Grand View Topless Coffee Shop reopened in an office trailer in November 2009 and the owner has vowed to rebuild.
