Australia- American erotic perfromer Bobbi Starr has used a visit to Darwin to call for Northern Territory laws on pornography to be made stricter.

The sex industry lobby grop, Eros, has been lobbying the Territory Government to clamp down on the practice and introduce legislation that mirrors the ACT’s laws regulating pornography.

Eros says says illegal, violent, unclassified pornography has been coming into Australia through Northern Territory GPO boxes.

Ms Starr has thrown her support behind the claims, saying any loopholes being used by illegal distributors should be closed.

“If you have material with all that stuff coming and being distributed throughout the country and going into states where that is regulated (with specific laws to stop it), then that’s really unfair to those that have set those laws.”
