from www.creativeloafing.com – Devon James, (aka Melinda Janette/Melinda Brinling-Caso) the self-proclaimed “porn queen” and prostitute with an arrest record, first gained notoriety when she claimed to be paid $2,000 for a threesome with Tiger Woods. Later the 29-year-old also claimed her nine-year-old son was Woods’ lovechild despite previous court-ordered DNA proof that the child belonged to another man.

Now Devon claims she has a “sex tape” featuring Woods and recently shopped the video to Vivid Entertainment.

“If Vivid won’t pay enough, we’re going to self-release the tape,” James told Radaronline.com “… It’s going to be the bomb.”

Although Vivid has released countless celebrity sex tapes despite impending legal action, Vivid passed on the deal.

“Ultimately we found a different company and they gave us $350,000 down with projected sales of $5 million total,” Devon’s husband Nick told RadarOnline.com.

It’s unclear why she would wait so long to come out with this “sex tape,” unless of course it isn’t real. Considering the couples’ past, and their differing accounts of how much the tape sold for, some speculate that the mystery company that purchased the tape is just as imaginary as the tape itself.

Devon’s estranged mother, Sandra Brinling, has come out against her daughter’s repeated attempts to benefit off of Woods’ name.

“My daughter is nothing but a pathological liar” she told RadarOnline.com. “There was no relationship with Tiger Woods.”

Brinling, who was granted custody of Devon’s three children in July 2009, even reached out to Woods’ lawyers to help them stop the “sex tape.”

Brinling claims she has heard at least three different versions of how Devon met Woods. The most widely reported account is that Devon first slept with the golfer while she was 19 and working on a Christian charity project in Hawaii.

“If Tiger doesn’t stop these girls it’s going to continue and somebody needs to put their foot down somewhere,” Brinling told RadarOnline.com.

Brinling went on to say her daughter deserves jail time for her actions. Considering Devon’s history of lying, it’s increasingly doubtful that she has even met the famous golfer. I think the press as a whole, myself included, owes Woods a public apology for reporting that he was in any way linked to Devon, and for unleashing this publicity monster on the world.

Devon is also being sued for $10K by former pornstar Gina Rodriguez who was Devon’s manager. In addition to a website deal gone wrong, the lawsuit claims Devon has been slandering Rodriguez on the internet, saying the manger smokes crack in addition to being a “liar,” “thief,” and a “whore bag slut.”

If that wasn’t enough drama for one month, James also threatened to kill Woods’ other pornstar mistress, Joslyn James. In the full email reprinted by RadarOnline.com, Devon writes of Joslyn, “She’s as fake as her hair and her heart looks like her botched boobs… Trust me I will I swear to u kill over this [sic??].”

Trouble started when the two women signed on to shoot a porn based on their affairs with Woods. On set, Joslyn accused Devon of stealing from her purse. According to the LAPD police report, Devon was accused of taking a cell phone, jewelry, and cash estimated at $750.

“Something’s not computing with her,” Joslyn told RadarOnline.com. “She doesn’t seem to understand that there are laws against fraud and there are laws against threatening other people.”

According to pornconjobs.com (a site dedicated to exposing frauds in the adult industry), Devon was also fired from the famous Las Vegas brothel, The Bunny Ranch, for her lack of professional tact. The owner, Dennis Hof, called Devon a “disgusting excuse for a working girl” after she broke the code of privacy and reported her “affair” with Woods.

PornConJobs.com, also printed an angry letter from an adult performer who was ripped off when coaxed into working with Devon and Nick. The anonymous writer claims she worked with Devon when news of Woods’ first mistress broke; they reportedly talked about how much publicity an affair with Woods would bring a girl in the porn industry. The writer goes on to outline how Devon and Nick got her to film an X-rated scene with them and then never paid her.

“I’m not sure what all kind of pills Melinda was snorting that night but I know there were vicoden’s, roxy’s, and zanies,” the performer writes. “Plus she was drinking, completely out of it and really messed up.”

I spoke to a local porn producer who had a similar story involving one of his clients who was coaxed into filming a scene with Devon and was never paid.

Devon was scheduled to appear at this weekend’s NightMoves Awards Show, but she was pulled from the caravan of stars. In a tweet reply to NightMoves, Devon wrote: “@NightmovesShow bunch of loser spin less [sic] f*cks…. Too bad the after party will go on!!! The ONLY fun thing in the whole novice [sic???]“

This is not unusual language for Devon’s twitter page, which seems to be dedicated to trash talking other twitter accounts.

The after party she’s referring to is still scheduled at the Tampa swinger club, Eyz Wide Shut, Sunday night, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that too is canceled. In any case, I doubt this is the last we’ll hear from Devon James.
