Den at www.cavr.com posts: Congrats to Tanner, to all of the nominees and to all of the 890 eligible newbies for their 2009 Season debuts.

This is the most difficult award that I do each year. Just keeping track of who is a newbie is a major headache.

I start on the 1st day of the new season and update weekly.

Then with 30 days to go I post on Adult DVD Talk and get lots of feedback on newbies.

The determing factor was the very good On the Couch
interviews that Julie Meadows did with Tanner Mayes.

But, the troubles this Trophy has caused me:

1> I emailed Julie Meadows and asked her if it would be okay to send her the CAVR Trophy and have her present it to Tanner.

The trophy was mailed on 10/05/2009 and it was delivered 22 days later with no trophy inside and a note stamped on outside of box from the Loose Articles Unit, Los Angeles, CA that packaged was received without contents!

2> I ordered a 2nd trophy and it took about 2 weeks. I sent an email to Tanner’s Agency and asked them to have Tanner email that I had some good news for her. They replied that they never heard of CAVR.com and they needed to know what the good news was before they would give me her email info.

3> I bought a new digital camera to take pictures of all the CAVR trophies and have struggled. I finally gave up and asked my friend The Coach to help. He modified last years’s trophy.
