TORRINGTON, Conn. – www.courant.com- Lawyers say a Connecticut music teacher cleared of having pornography on a classroom computer has settled his lawsuit against the school board and his former principal.
Torrington Middle School teacher Matthew Valenti filed the lawsuit in 2007 after the allegations proved to be false.
Attorneys for the school board and Valenti met Tuesday with a federal magistrate and came out with an agreement that remains under wraps and subject to school board approval.
Attorneys are declining to comment on the specifics of the settlement. Valenti’s lawyer says that the settlement involves money for his client.
Administrators seized Valenti’s two school computers in 2004 following allegations from parents.
