New York – Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta angrily vowed to ax the firemen at the center of the FDNY sex scandal – as investigators hunted yesterday for a missing stained pillowcase. https://www.adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=5462

“Anyone who was involved in sexual activity at this firehouse will be fired,” Scoppetta said, slamming the “adolescents” who shamed the department.

“Every officer who had some responsibility for supervising that firehouse will be held accountable as well,” Scoppetta said. “We’re simply not going to let the activities of a few members … soil the very hard-won reputation of this department.”

Scoppetta then leveled a stern warning: “The sanctions will be swift and severe.”

The no-nonsense pledge came after Mayor Bloomberg deemed the scandal at Engine 75/Ladder 33 in the Bronx an outrage.

“We take this very seriously and we will do everything we can, once the investigation is over, to prevent this kind of an outrage and lack of supervision,” Bloomberg said.

The city probe hit full speed yesterday as the Department of Investigation began to question everyone who was at the firehouse Friday morning when the Staten Island woman says she had sex with as many as four on-duty firefighters.

A source close to the probe said investigators were trying to track down a pillowcase from the fire company, long known as the Animal House.

“There is a pillowcase with bodily fluid on it that is missing,” the source said.

An investigator told the Daily News that the pillowcase was used to clean up the sex scene.

As the probe moved forward, the woman’s estranged husband said he would fight for sole custody of the couple’s two young children, according to his divorce attorney, Sherri Donovan.

The husband has told The News that his 34-year-old wife suffers from a bipolar disorder and repeatedly cheated on him after the Sept. 11 attacks – sleeping with “every cop and firefighter in town.”

The woman committed herself to a psychiatric ward over the weekend and could not be reached for comment.

She first told cops she was gang-raped after having consensual sex with Firefighter Tony DeLuca in the firehouse, but recanted her story and said all the sex was consensual – only to claim again she was raped, sources said.

No criminal charges have been filed and none are expected, according to law enforcement officials.

FDNY brass have suspended DeLuca, 34, a married father from Long Island, and another firefighter, Christian Waugh, 30, of Yonkers, without pay. Three officers and nine other firefighters at the firehouse have been put on desk duty.

DeLuca and Waugh, a veteran smoke eater who has played bagpipes at 300 department funerals and was involved in a rescue this summer, have not admitted to any wrongdoing, sources said.

Neither was interviewed yesterday but both will be questioned in the coming days, a source said.

Investigators have seized a firehouse computer that DeLuca allegedly used to trade lurid messages with the woman who ignited the scandal, sources said.

Scoppetta has been forced to repeatedly admonish firefighters for scandalous behavior, beginning with a drunken New Year’s Eve brawl in a Staten Island firehouse.

Scoppetta made it clear – once again – yesterday that he will not tolerate any misbehavior in the ranks of the Bravest.

“There’s a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol while on duty. There’s a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, and any misconduct of the kind alleged here in the firehouse will be punished severely.”

Scoppetta also rejected any suggestion he step down.

“I have no intention of resigning because I’ve got some adolescents in firehouses thinking they can live out their adolescent fantasies,” he said.
