Unlike many other adult news/gossip services, Gene’s coverage of the HIV crisis was pretty damn right on. Not only did he break things before anyone else, but all of his “teaser” speculations turned out to be true, in regards to new cases of HIV reported.

Having unnamed sources is very common in adult reporting. There are a lot of people that cannot have their names in print for this or that because it will directly affect their livelihood. Gene, and I at times, choose to respect their wishes and should the time come where we are required to release a name for legal purposes, then XXX’s name will be given as the source. Keep in mind, XXX the source was never wrong in the recent Gene coverage. So whether you like the hidden party style or not, you got the news.

Gene never accused Darren or Lara of bringing the disease to the mix, he only showed different examples of how people should be careful on who to blame because in a situation like this, proving who had it is not as simple as “Blame Brazil.”

In regards to the pic….you need to get off the Photoshop fantasy. It is a real pic, I am friends with the man who took the photo. It was also confirmed by male talent Dick Tracy [on KSEX] that the rash in that pic was real because he was also scheduled to work with her that day. When he saw the condition of her ass and genitals, he told the director that he wouldn’t go near that, all the while Lara and her manager getting pissed at him because they claimed it was a “waxing rash.”

I will even take this one step further and say this. Lara is a troubled, bitter woman. Her “it’s the industries fault” attitude is a bunch of bullshit and because of her own mental problems, she’s going to destroy us should she decide to make this a high profile mainstream attack on the adult biz.

Lets remember, this is a woman who “hooked” out of her motel room on Sepulvada in Van Nuys, rumored to be NO CONDOM. This is a woman who on the night was told her first HIV test came back positive, called a few guys in the business asking to get her some quick work on camera or hooking so she can get money to go back home [I was there for one of those calls when she dialed my friend].

She is a disgrace to all the precautions and unwritten codes of “how to be a good porn star” that this business has and to be quite honest, while I sympathize with her disease, her attitude and her “cash in” approach makes me fucking sick.

So before you protect this 21 [30] year old as the innocent victim, just remember her lifestyle was beyond questionable!
