New Orleans – from www.nola.com – Kenner police arrested a pregnant prostitute, her john and her boyfriend after a fight at the couple’s home, the Police Department said Monday.
Annie Roccaforte [pictured], 26, who was eight months pregnant, had solicited a former customer, Eduardo Isaac Paz, 36, to have sex with her for $20 at the home she shared with her boyfriend at 3403 Connecticut Ave., according to a police report. The boyfriend, Joshua Smith, 28, granted her permission as long as he could be in another room and Paz wore a condom.
Roccaforte asked Paz to wear a condom, but he refused and began to touch her inappropriately, the police report said. She told Paz to stop several times, but he persisted, the report said. Smith heard the struggle and confronted Paz with a wooden stick.
During the fight, Smith was injured in the head and right arm, the report said. Roccaforte suffered a broken tooth and bloodied lip, and Paz sustained a broken nose, police said.
Police were called to the scene early Sunday after someone outside the house reported what they thought was a burglary in progress there.
Paz, who gave an address of 4216 Arbor Court in Kenner, was booked with soliciting prostitution, sexual battery and aggravated battery. He remained Monday in custody in lieu of $50,500 bond, said Sgt. Brian McGregor, a Police Department spokesman.
Roccaforte was booked with prostitution and released due to prison crowding. She could not be reached Monday.
Smith was booked with aggravated battery, pandering and violating parole, McGregor said. His bond has not been set.
He is on parole until March 2013 for attempted possession of a gun and possession of marijuana and alprazolam.
