Prague – from www.prguemonitor.com – A Prague court Monday rejected Ukrainian porn actress Anastasia Hagen-Gryshai’s appeal against the repeated rejection of her application for Czech asylum.

Hagen-Gryshai filed a complaint against the Interior Ministry after it had repeatedly decided not to grant her asylum in the Czech Republic.

She told journalists Monday she definitely does not want to return to her homeland because she fears that the Ukrainian authorities would imprison her and take her three sons away from her.

The court concluded that the ministerial clerks proceeded correctly and that Hagen-Gryshai did not prove that she should be granted asylum.

According to Hagen-Gryshai’s lawyer Pavla Rozumkova, the Interior Ministry did not take into account all the relevant circumstances and simply made a formal decision.

Rozumkova said she would be considering the possibility of her client gaining a residence permit and filing an appeal with the Supreme Administrative Court.

The deadline for filing the appeal is two weeks from receiving the court’s verdict. Hagen-Gryshai can stay in the Czech Republic until then.

Gryshai, 27, known as Wiska, moved to the Czech Republic more than two years ago to avoid her prosecution over porn distribution in Ukraine. In Prague she began to use the name Anastasia Hagen and her third baby was born here.

Pornography has been banned in Ukraine since 2009.
