from www.marconews.com – A 21-year-old Lehigh Acres man who has several aliases, including “Miss Juicy” was arrested Thursday after video surveillance showed him using another man’s debit card at a store and deputies conducted an undercover sting operation into prostitution.
Joseph Lamar Temple, who also goes by the names of Asia Braxton and Asia Temple, of the 2400 block of Ansel Avenue, was charged with armed burglary, grand theft between $300 and $5,000, grand theft of a firearm, keeping a house for prostitution, lewd acts, practicing massage without a license and violation of probation on a conviction of organized fraud of more than $50,000. He was released from prison in August 2009 after serving less than a year of two 10-year sentences on two charges of fraud dating to 2006.
As deputies executed a search warrant at Temple’s house, they learned another man, Antonio Shundale Parrish, 32, of the same address, was a suspect in another, unrelated incident. He charged with two counts of illegal use of a credit card and one of use of another person’s identification without their consent.
According to Lee County Sheriff’s Office reports:
On Dec. 14 deputies went to the Ansel Avenue address where a 44-year-old man said his car was broken into and several items were stolen, including a gun and his bank card.
He called his bank to say it was stolen and the bank said a transaction was made at a Lehigh grocery store recently. The victim said while he was at Temple’s house, a man matching Temple’s description went through his pant pockets and took his keys.
Through investigation deputies believed Temple was committing fraud on “Johns visiting his home for sex acts.” A detective found “***T.S.***Miss Juicy-22 who listed a telephone number on a website, backpage.com. The “T.S.” according to the report, “refers to Temple being a transsexual.”
He spoke with “Miss Juicy … by telephone in order to set up an appointment with her.” They negotiated a price of $160 and the deputy was asked to bring condoms. The deputy went to the house, was told to take off his clothes and was given a massage. About 10 minutes later, the deputy said he had to get back to work and the two decided they would meet again later.
A search warrant was executed on the home and Temple was arrested.
Meantime on Dec. 30 deputies had been called by another victim, whose age and address was not available, who said his credit card was stolen. A deputy asked if he had been at the Ansel address and he said “yes.” He said he had left his wallet in the car but his keys were in his pants.
His credit card was used at several area stores to purchase more than $1,000 in merchandise and gift cards.
