STAUNTON, Virginia — Two potential jurors have been seated this morning in the city’s obscenity case against After Hours Video and its owner, Rick Krial.
More than thirty people from the jury pool are being questioned individually in a separate courtroom by several attorneys from both sides.
Seven jurors are needed before the misdemeanor charges against Krial, his company and employee Tinsley Embrey can be heard.
Several jurors — some who have admitted that they could not be impartial — have already been excused. The two potential jurors who have been asked to stay include a former Sunday school teacher and a blue-collar worker. Both are women.
The trial is expected to last four days. Today’s proceedings began at 10 a.m.
