Susannah Breslin writes on www.thefrisky.com – Sasha Grey made her premiere on “Entourage,” playing herself as the sort-of girlfriend of Vincent Chase played by Adrian Grenier. Presumably, Grey was brought on the show to “spice things up” a bit. The show’s neither as funny, interesting, nor innovative as it used to be, so someone must have decided “porn star!” was the answer. How was Grey?
Not half-bad. If that sounds like damning with faint praise, it is. After all, she’s playing herself. How hard could that be? She plays pretty much the same type of character that she played in Steven Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience,” a cold, vacant, distant sex worker who peers out at the world through glazed-over eyes and reveals nothing.
She’s a little warmer, a little funner in this go-round, but basically it’s the same shtick. It leaves you wondering whether Grey is acting at all—or just, you know, remote.
In any case, things start off with Vince meeting Grey at a night club. The two hit it off, and, oh my gosh, the porn star has a brain! References to Oscar Wilde and Jean-Luc Godard follow. While one can’t criticize the show for showing Grey as the (seemingly, at least) thinking individual she really is, her presence prompts one long protracted anal sex joke among Vince’s peers. (Grey is known for her anal scenes in porn movies, in case you didn’t get the memo.)
The boys—Drama, Turtle, and E—respond to Grey the same way you’d imagine what would happen if you brought up the subject of anal sex to a group of 15-year-old boys: a lot of tittering, Drama observes, “Vagina’s my third favorite hole,” and E is inspired to attempt performing the act with fiance Sloan. Suffice to say, it doesn’t, er, end well. “I like your vagina,” E confesses. “Is that so wrong?” Uh, no.
Ultimately, Grey’s character and porn star status prove to be one more piece of evidence that Vince is spiraling out of control. His back injured after a stunt gone wrong, he starts popping Vicodin, knocking back Tequila shots, and, well, then there’s the matter of that porn star on his arm.
“Entourage” can’t quite decide whether it wants to show having a porn star as a girlfriend is a good thing or a bad thing. It’s too soon to tell, but Grey will return in future episodes. For now it looks like hooking up with the star of “Anal Acrobats,” at least in Hollywood’s eyes, may not do you any favors.

Last night on Entourage we finally arrived at the long awaited episode in which Sasha Grey made her first appearance. Joining the cast of Entourage Season 7, highly renowned porn-star Sasha Grey plays herself as Vincent Chase’s new love interest.
We start off the episode with all the boys out on the town, watching from afar as Vince is talking with Sasha Grey. Now the debate in question is if Vincent knows who she is or not. Vincent is perfectly aware of Sasha’s claim to fame and has no problems with it. The two newly found lovebirds’ leave the club and thus we begin a relationship, which will hopefully last for the remainder of the season.
Turtle is still trying to get Vince to be the face of a new brand of Tequila he hopes to bring to the U.S. Turtle mentions that him and Alex had a “make-out session” as if he were back in middle school. Regardless of how childish it sounds, could this mean that Turtle and Alex are finally going to get together?
Entourage’s E is battling it out with Drama and the television script that was supposedly made just for him. It turns out that Bob Saget has gotten wind of the script and wants to replace Drama. Of course with the friendship between Bob Saget and John Stamos, it was not hard to convince Stamos to push aside Drama for his buddy, Bob Saget.
World War III is breaking out at Ari Gold’s agency as he tries to salvage the clients Lizzie has stolen from him. Mike Tyson and Jessica Simpson make guest appearances last night as Ari woos them for a commitment to his agency. As usual Entourage is packed with stars.
We end Entourage episode 5 with E and Sloan drunk off Turtle’s tequila attempting anal sex in a very awkward sex scene. Ari and Mrs. Ari are also participating in a little bit of foul play which is interrupted by a call from Ari’s arch nemesis, Amanda Daniels.
As we wait for more Entourage next week and more of the outstanding Sasha Grey (I think I have a crush on Sasha), we are left with a couple of cliffhangers:
Will E give in and sign off on an endorsement deal for Vincent and Turtle’s tequila? Will Drama ever get a second chance in the entertainment industry? Is Lizzie working for Amanda Daniels going to bite Ari in the ass? Last but not least, will the relationship between Sasha Grey and Vince last?
