from www.nbcmiami.com – A Port St. Lucie topless sports bar sign offering to hire Casey Anthony was a joke, the manager told NBC Miami on Tuesday.

Doug Devlin of Body Talk Sports Bar said that his “Hey Casey, We are Hiring” sign was only put up “as a joke.”

Anthony was last reported to be living somewhere in Florida, according to her attorney Jose Baez.

Despite published reports that the job offer for Anthony was real, Devlin denied the sign’s sincerity and said that he puts messages on the bar’s marquee all the time.

When asked if he would actually hire Anthony if she was interested, Devlin said in a phone interview, “Absolutely not. It is one of those hot button issues that is good for no one.”

Anthony was acquitted of her 2-year-old daughter’s murder in July. She was sentenced to four years in prison for lying to authorities, but was released days after her acquittal because of credit for time she had already served – nearly three years – and for her good behavior behind bars.
