Utah Weatherman Pleads Not Guilty

Utah- A former TV weatherman and his business partner indicted on child pornography charges entered their pleas today.

Both 32-year-old Matt Duhamel and 26-year-old Charles Granere entered a not guilty plea in federal court this morning.

Both men are free pending their trial even though a key condition of their pretrial release has not been met yet. When Duhamel was released from jail on Tuesday, the judge ordered him to shut down his web site within 24 hours. However, it’s still up and running.

Duhamel’s attorney says his client has been trying to shut it down but it’s based in Europe and there has been some legal issues.

If convicted, both Duhamel and Granere face decades in prison. Their trial is now set for May 15th.
