Violet Blue chips in thoughts on Adult Star Contracts

(PORN VALLEY, CA) — I can’ t really say too much about contracts since I’ve never been in one. I can give my un-educated opinion though so that is what I will do.
I think that when you first start doing porn it is better that you don’t have a contract because if you decide that the biz isn’t for you, you can’t get out of your contract. Also you make a lot more money when your not in a contract and new to the biz.

The benefits are being promoted by the company, not having to do that many movies, being known as a contract girl, getting more feature dancing work, not having to worry about who your going to sign for at the next AVN expo, having health insurance and a steady paycheck, having a sudo family and steady job.

The negatives are not making as much money unless you feature dance or have a really good deal, being stuck with one company and a handful of directors, all the typical problems that you would have in a normal job, the contract girl mentality that comes with being popular, being dragged around to promote the company, and being a slave to the whims of another.

If its a good contact it will be good for both the company and the performer. Its the same as any business contract, some are great and some suck really bad.

Love, Violet Blue

P.S. Could you put in the article that I am now looking for a contract? Thanks!
