Vivid to Release Malice in Wonderland

Vivid Entertainment, the world’s leading adult film company, has won U.S. distribution rights to the critically acclaimed and highly anticipated breakthrough title “Malice in Lalaland” from Miss Lucifer Productions.

A strong buzz has already begun for the movie, produced by Joachem Goldstein and Lew Xypher that was shot on 35mm.

The film combines animation, live action, hot sex scenes and a rock ‘n roll score with remarkable post production and special effects. It’s the second production from wildly talented director Xypher whose 2008 debut release “Hell is Where the Party is” received high praise.

“We are delighted that “Malice” will be distributed by Vivid. It gives us total confidence that it will be handled in the same highly professional way in which the movie was produced,” said Jurgen Claes, CEO of Miss Lucifer Productions.

The surreal story is a contemporary adaptation of both “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass,” two iconic books by Lewis Carroll.

It takes viewers to a strange world where they meet its even stranger characters, including Malice (Sasha Grey) who has escaped from an asylum after a nasty round of shock treatment. She follows a midget in a rabbit suit (Stephen Powers) down a hole in a basement and Xypher’s phantasmagoric imagination serves as tour guide as Malice takes her bizarre trip through Lalaland.

“We found this movie to be irresistible and we plan distribution for this September. The packaging alone, with its 40 page booklet of photos will make this a choice collector’s item. It has mainstream sensibility and extraordinary production values with the erotic punch that only scorching sex scenes can deliver. It’s filled with fantastical twists and turns that are inspired by Lewis Carroll but it never forgets that it’s designed to be a turn on,” said Steven Hirsch, founder/co-chairman of Vivid.

In addition to Sasha Grey and Stephen Powers, the cast includes Ron Jeremy, Chayse Evans, Kagney Linn Karter, Andy San Dimas, Mackenzee Pierce, Jesse Capelli, Alyssa Reece, Kristina Rose, Juelz Ventura, Sadie West, Phoenix Marie, Keni Styles, Tommy Gunn, Billy Glide, Chris Johnson, Danny Mountain, Alan Stafford, Jenna Presley and many more.
