What would you have bet that Houston, Green Bay and Detroit would start off the NFL season 2-0 while the Saints and San Diego Chargers would be 0-2? Well, that’s the way this young season is going so far. Surprises and more surprises. The Bengals cough up 51 points to Cleveland? What happened to all that Chad Johnson bad boy intensity we saw last week?

And, of course, there was the inevitable dubious referee call giving Denver a win over the Raiders.

But Sean from www.pornlegends.com and Karl the Birdman seemed to have figured all the fixes, enigmas and riddles out- both sharing the lead for first place in the Adultfyi standings with 23-8 records. The tie gets broken tonight, however. The Birdman’s going with the Skins. Sean has the Eagles.

And Sunday’s top record of 11-4 was shared by Steve Seidman, Dan Davis and Indiana Adam.

Here’s how the games fared:

Browns 51, Bengals 45

Derek Anderson threw five touchdown passes, Jamal Lewis rushed for 216 yards and Cleveland (1-1), so desperate after losing its home opener it traded its starting quarterback, outlasted Cincinnati (1-1) and Carson Palmer on Sunday.

Anderson had a breakout game against the Browns (1-1), going 20-of-33 for 328 yards and the five TDs, which tied a team record.

Palmer went 33-of-50 for 401 yards and tossed a career-high six TDs.

Packers 35, Giants 13

Brett Favre completed his first 14 passes of the second half and threw three touchdown passes to rally Green Bay (2-0) over Eli Manning and the New York Giants (0-2). The victory was the 149th of Favre’s 17-year career, giving him the NFL record — one more than Hall of Famer John Elway.

Texans 34, Panthers 21

With Matt Schaub throwing for 227 yards and two touchdowns and backed up by an effective running game, Houston forced three turnovers and recovered from a sluggish start to go 2-0 for the first time in franchise history.

Steve Smith caught eight passes for 153 yards and three TDs for Carolina (1-1).

Colts 22, Titans 20

Peyton Manning threw for 312 yards and a touchdown, and Indianapolis (2-0) held off Tennessee (1-1) when its defense stopped Vince Young on a final-drive comeback.

Young was 17-of-27 for 184 yards and a touchdown, but couldn’t lead the Titans to 2-0 for the first time since 1999.

Buccaneers 31, Saints 14

Joey Galloway caught four passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns, tormenting New Orleans (0-2) for the sixth straight game between the NFC South rivals.

Jeff Garcia completed 10 of 16 passes for 243 yards and no interceptions for Tampa Bay (1-1).

Steelers 26, Bills 3

Willie Parker ran for a touchdown and 126 yards, and Ben Roethlisberger threw for a score as Pittsburgh (2-0) controlled the clock and the tempo while pulling away from Buffalo.

Buffalo’s J.P. Losman couldn’t generate any offense as the Bills (0-2) were outgained 421-223.

Jaguars 13, Falcons 7

Jacksonville (1-1) sacked Joey Harrington seven times and held Atlanta (0-2) to under 100 yards rushing.

Atlanta’s biggest problem came on special teams, where rookie Matt Prater missed two field goals.

Broncos 23, Raiders 20, OT

Jason Elam’s 23-yard field goal with 5:48 left in overtime gave Denver (2-0) a win just minutes after the Raiders had been celebrating what they thought was their own wild win.

Sebastian Janikowski nailed a 52-yard field goal at 11:13 of overtime. But as Oakland (0-2) rushed the field in celebration and the Broncos (2-0) hung their heads in defeat, the officials ruled Denver called a timeout just before the snap. On the retry, Janikowski’s kick hit the left upright.

Bears 20, Chiefs 10

Devin Hester scored on a 73-yard punt for Chicago (1-1) in the second quarter and set up a field goal in the third with another long return for the defending NFC champions.

Cedric Benson carried 24 times for 101 yards. Rex Grossman was 20-for-34 with 160 yards and a touchdown, but was picked off twice by Kansas City (0-2).

Ravens 20, Jets 13

Kyle Boller threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns, and Baltimore (1-1) overcame a late charge by Kellen Clemens and New York (0-2) in a matchup of backup quarterbacks.

Cowboys 37, Dolphins 20

Dallas (2-0) took advantage of five takeaways and a ball-control offense to beat hapless Miami (0-2).

The Cowboys intercepted Trent Green four times and recovered a fumbled snap.

Arizona 23, Seattle 20

After blowing a 17-0 lead in what looked like another classic Arizona collapse, Darnell Dockett recovered a fumble by Seattle’s Matt Hasselbeck. Then, Neil Rackers kicked a 41-yard field goal with one second to go, giving Arizona (1-1) the victory over Seattle (1-1).

Lions 20, Vikings 17, OT

Jason Hanson’s 37-yard field goal in overtime lifted Detroit (2-0) over Minnesota (1-1) and ended a 10-game losing streak in the series.

The Lions and Vikings combined for nine turnovers in regulation — and two missed field goal attempts in the final 35 seconds.

Patriots 38, Chargers 14

Tom Brady threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns and got three TDs from players picked up last spring: Randy Moss with two receptions, and Adalius Thomas with a 65-yard interception return.
