Porn Valley- I first met Lenny Stiltz from Astrux Entertainment last year at Erotica L.A., Astrux being the company that had this zillion dollar car on the floor as part of a promotion to hype a title called Up in the Club LA.
Astrux is now working on a new venture and, to tell you the truth, it beats zillion dollar cars and clubs in L.A.. The company’s shooting a new series for Metro titled Who’s Next in Porn and it features brand new faces. As in really brand new faces- girls who have only done a couple of porn scenes. Girls who smile. Girls who are very pretty. Girls who have great attitudes. In other words, girls who haven’t been left out in the porn sun to spoil. And for that reason, this series looks like it might kick some major butt.
Today’s shoot was at the home of Thomas Hope who heads up XTC Models which, obviously, provided the girls. At least for this time around. I’m beginning to think that there’s more talent agencies than porn companies, now. Anyway, in my chat with Lenny, I discover that he got his start in the industry about three years ago, Astrux at that time providing editing services then branching out. Lenny’s telling me about the launch of another venture next week which will provide porn locations, limos to rent, stuff like that.
But the story I get a real kick out of is about this girl who’s made her debut of sorts on the Tom Leykis radio show in L.A. This girl’s apparently created a website, allowing guys to donate money to help send her to college. Lenny says it gets better. He met her, and she’s now decided to become a porn star and is going to work under the name Ashley Steel. I’ve seen one of her pix, and I think Steel’s got the potential to get past graduate school and into a docorate program.
