Exposed breasts? Sure, you’ll find’em at www.adultcybermart.com
from www.articles.sun-sentinel.com – A Tamarac woman who authorities said intentionally exposed her breasts in an area where children were waiting for a school bus was ordered held without bond on Tuesday.
Maribel Gomez, 35, was arrested Monday morning in Pompano Beach after witnesses told deputies that she exposed her breasts in the view of a group of children. She was initially charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition.
At a first appearance hearing on Tuesday, however, Judge John “Jay” Hurley downgraded the charge against Gomez.
“We’ve agreed that your alleged behavior does not fit into that statute,” he said. “We agreed that if anything, it’s disorderly conduct.”
Hurley did revoke Gomez’s bond because of a drug-related arrest last month.
According to a Broward Sheriff’s Office probable cause affidavit, a deputy answered a call about 8:15 a.m. on Monday regarding a woman undressing in front of school children waiting for a bus in the 400 block of Northwest 27th Avenue.
At the scene, the deputy saw, “numerous people,” pointing toward Gomez, the affidavit said.
Additionally, according to the document, a 10-year-old witness told the deputy he saw Gomez “with her breasts fully exposed,” and heard her ask, “Are you ready?”
The affidavit does not explain why Gomez was in the area.
Hurley also ordered that Gomez undergo a mental health evaluation.
