The X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) has announced its 2011 Hall of Fame inductees and revealed the nominees for the 42nd Annual XRCO Awards, with the latter presented via a video featuring numerous industry figures.

2011 Hall of Fame Class Announced

The 2011 XRCO Hall of Fame class includes Rayveness, Tricia Devereaux, jessica drake, Lynn Lemay, Juli Ashton, Aurora Snow, Dave Cummings, Manuel Ferrara, and Peter Van Aarle. The 2011 XRCO Awards ceremony, hosted by Tom Byron, is scheduled for April 13 at the Highlands Hollywood. Attendance for this event is restricted to adult industry personnel and press only, with free admission.

The XRCO, founded in 1984, is an organization of writers and editors from the American adult entertainment industry. It presents annual awards recognizing achievements within the industry. The organization was established following controversy and criticism surrounding the Best Erotic Scene win for the movie "Virgin" at the 1984 Adult Film Association of America awards, leading to the creation of the XRCO and its "Heart-On Awards."

Jim Holliday, an AVN Award-winning producer and historian, is recognized as the founding father of the XRCO. After Holliday's death, XRCO founding member Bill Margold temporarily filled the position of XRCO Historian until 2006. James Avalon, a former editor of Adam Film World’s special editions, was also a founding member. Jared Rutter, XRCO's original Chairman, stepped down in 2004 and is now an "Honorary Chairman." The current co-Chairmen are "Dirty Bob" Krotts and Dick Freeman.

The organization initially consisted of writers from Los Angeles, New York City, and Philadelphia. In 2005, XRCO expanded its membership to include its first European members. Its members now comprise writers from various adult publications and Internet sites, with many working full-time in this occupation. Some members hold university degrees with an emphasis on Film Criticism.

Multi-time XRCO Award winner Amber Lynn also appears in the video, where she announced the 2026 XRCO Hall of Fame inductees. Additional contributions to the presentation were made by Aliya Brynn, Angel Windell, Baphi, Brandi Swan, Caitlyn Baby, Ellie Murphy, Gigi Dior, Hayla Faye, Ivan, Lisa Sparxxx, Lorelai Leigh, Nyla, Peach, Rebecca Love, Sarah Lace, Taylor Nicole, and Wendy Raine.

Categories for which nominees were revealed in the video include New Starlet, New Stud, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Release, and the returning Mainstream Crossover or Documentary category.
