Yo Playboy, Give A Good Man A Job

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — It isn’t often you meet someone who has a good personality, good creative skills and hard work ethic. While this isn’t a job posting site, I needed to post this one because I’ve seen the quality of work Jimmy Rodriguez does and wanted to help his chances, just a little, of getting an interview for a new producer position Playboy is advertising as available.

Jimmy writes:

In over seven years at ESPN, I have gained valuable experience as a field producer covering remote events like the MLB All-Star game, World Series, spring training in Florida and the Super Bowl.

I have served as a producer in ESPN’s southern California bureau on Up Close and Unscripted with Chris Connelly. My duties included, line producing, field producing ENG interviews, editing the show for content, hiring crews; supervising two interns, five production assistants, and one associate producer.

While on Unscripted, we geared the show towards more entertainment angles. I produced long form interview programs with pro wrestler, The Rock, actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, as well as musician Darius Rucker.

Recently, I created “Rollin'”, a southern California nightlife show. My show similar to “Wild On”, is an LA version spotlighting the local hot spots and people. I served as the host and executive producer. We even had Hugh Hefner and ex-Pro Bowl running back, Christian Okoye appear in our premiere episode. I am currently freelancing for ESPN as an L.A. bureau producer and looking for more steady work.

I think my creative, production, and writing skills make me an ideal fit for a position on your team. Thanks for your time and look forward to speaking with you soon. Please contact me for a list of references and or a tape.

Regards,

Jimmy Rodriguez
