Zero Tolerance Sues

> Citing creative and professional differences, Kylie Ireland announced that she will no longer be directing for DVSX.

> From contactpornstars.com, Mia Rose comments to criticism on PST: Porn starlet Mia Rose drives a stake through the heart of the post made by RIchard Average of Lurid HD Entertainment on PornStarPerformance.com.

Richard posted a tirade directed at Mia using all his professional diplomacy [sarcasm] utilizing such phrases like “brainless little flake” and lashing out, stating that Mia caused the Lurid shoot thousands of dollars.

Of note, Mia says “I did not speak with Richard that Morning. I spoke with a young man named Adam.” Mia continues with “I was a ‘maybe’ the whole time.” (Mia forwarded an email sent by Lurid with Call Times saying Destiny “or Mia”)

Apparently the highly in demand Mia had an exhausting schedule which included a photo shoot that ran long the night before, and simply over slept. Upon waking up she tried to correct the situation.

RICHARD: 4 hours after her call time, she phones, literally crying, about how she over slept and what can she do to make it up?

MIA: On Monday, I had a photo shoot took from 11am to Midnight. I woke up Tuesday at 10 am. Late to Lurid’s scene. I was on the phone with Adam right away… Not 4 hours after, as said above.

It was two hours after.

RICHARD: We tell her we’ll do a pick up scene with her tomorrow if she cuts her rate in half help cover the additional 2 grand it will cost to set up for the reshoot.

The crying stopped immediately and she responds “I can’t cut my rate” and refuses to budge.

This selfish girl just cost me more than $2 thousand dollars in additional costs (over and above the cost of talent) to complete my title and she won’t cut $500 of her rate to help make up for something she did!

MIA: When I called I was calm, not in tears. Immediately, I asked what can I do to make this up? I told him I could be there right away. I told him I would rock the scene and that he would not be disappointed with my performance.

I have never once, NEVER had someone complain of my scene, in fact, almost every scene I have done I the directors are SO happy with it the hire me again and again, and continue to thank me.

Adam replied saying I could still come in if I cut my rate to $500 because I was already “two hours after call time” (again, not 4 hours) and somehow cost them over $2000.

I will not do a scene for less than my rate.

But I said I would do an extra set of stills AND a solo ON TOP of the scene that was booked.

He said no.

Let me reiterate, HE said NO.

Only do it if I worked for 500.

So, I ask you, who was the one being selfish??

RICHARD: Be warned about this brainless little flake. What the fuck does she care that I had a crew paid by the hour standing around for two hours (at a location thats cost by the hour with equipment that’s rented by the day) with nothing to do.

MIA: And how many times on PSP do I read “I couldn’t get a hold of anyone” “there was no answer” At least I took responsibility for my actions. And tried to make it right.

How many directors can say that the girl flaked and never spoke to her on the phone, never had the girl try to make it right? Or had the show up drunk, on drugs, did a horrible scene or just wasn’t happy? Not to excuse my being late, but, Hell I have seen girls be 3 or 4 hours late to set.

Lurid shot ALOT of scenes that day, in that location, if anything they saved money and made money by me not going.

Like I said, I make mistakes, but always take responsibility and try to make up for them.

So basically the girl tried to right the wrong, by giving them extra content, yet they would rather play the martyr.

Maybe it’s just me, but it would have been more productive to take the extra solo scene and set of stills rather than complaining about it on Pornstar Performance.

> Big Daddy Crunk posts on www.xxxporntalk.com: I think half those wanna-be “auteurs” posting on PSP.com deserve to get blown off by talent. Give it a few months and when the “bubble” bursts, those same geniuses of eroticism will be shuffling in line next to the Mexican laborers at daybreak, begging to dig ditches and clean swimming pools.

> posted on Xbiz.com: Zero Tolerance Entertainment, along with sister companies Third Degree Films and Black Ice Ltd., have filed a lawsuit against online adult DVD rental site Movixo Inc. and its principal Joseph Cecilia, charging the Florida-based outfit with copyright infringement, XBIZ has learned.

According to a statement released by Zero Tolerance, the company is alleging Movixo violated copyright laws by illegally pirating 172 of its titles. Zero Tolerance President Greg Alves is seeking $150,000 per bootlegged title, the maximum penalty allowable for willful copyright infringement.

The complaint was filed on June 26 in U.S. District Court in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The case has been assigned to Judge Joan A. Lenard.

According to a Zero Tolerance representative, Movixo was not buying its DVDs directly from Zero Tolerance. The company is alleging that Movixo.com customers are receiving non-authorized, low-quality copies of its copyrighted content.

Los Angeles-based First Amendment attorney Clyde DeWitt is representing Zero Tolerance in its suit, along with Joseph Lopez in Florida.

The case number for Zero Tolerance Entertainment vs. Movixo, Inc. is 06-CV-60917.

> from the NY Post: CELEBRITY-stalking Dessarae Bradford was booted out of a taping of “The Tonight Show” on Thursday after she jumped on stage and approached “Miami Vice” star Colin Farrell. The former phone-sex-line operator – who unsuccessfully sued Farrell for $5,000 last year, claiming he was stalking her via phone calls and text messages – started talking to Farrell before he took her by the elbow and led her off stage. Farrell led Bradford straight to NBC security, but not before she left a copy of “Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy,” a self-published book detailing her alleged encounters with Farrell, on Jay Leno’s desk. After she was escorted off stage, Bradford shouted, “I’ll see you in court.” Farrell shot back: “You’re insane.” Security men warned Bradford she would be arrested for trespassing if she ever returned to NBC Studios in Burbank. The bizarre exchange was cut out of that night’s broadcast. Bradford had previously made stalking claims against Alec Baldwin, about whom she also wrote a self-published book full of spurious tales.

> Bobby Rinaldi posts on www.pornstarperformance.com: Ok Ok, now understand I havent had my third cup of coffee this mornin but one more thing… everyones been complaining how slow things are, how their new release number are down etc…but yet talent rates keep going up and up….who is the one that sets talent rates? Is it the agency? The talent? NO! Its us who keep paying these crazy fucking rates! Now I for one use talent agencys all the time, and Im the first to say im part of the problem.

Now I have NO problem whatsoever paying some OUTSTANDING talent of which there are many a bit higher rate, but now a days girls who are WAY THE FUCK shot out are asking higher rates then ever before. Girls who used to get $700.00 or $800.00 for a boy girl are asking $900.00 to $1,000 for a boy girl. If biz was good who gives a fuck? We are all in this biz to make money, but the talent has to understand as do the agencys that one day all good things will come to an end, and this thing is going to implode. Whats next $3,000 boy girl rates? IS that gonna help sell my video? Agencys and talent have to understand that we ALL have to work together to insure that all of us can continue to do what we love (make movies). Isnt it better for a girl to do a $600.00 or $700.00 boy girl scene then sit on her ass doing nothing and complaining she isnt getting any work? Im not saying to do the scenes for $300.00 or $400.00 that some of you real cheap fuckers are offering, but when things are slow like they are in the summer time. agencys and talent should offer some kind of price break or we will ALL eventually suffer. What happened to the days when you were able to negotiate a scene rate? All depnding on the budjet.

Now for the most part some agencys have bettered the buisiness as far as getting girls to show up and have their tests, and for that I am VERY happy to pay agency fees ( of which I have NO problem whatsoever paying AT ALL) but some of these ugly chicks want $800 or $900 a scene and they just arent worth that kind of money. Guys lets get real. One day this is going to bite everyone in the ass and the only companies shooting will be the ones that pay these high rates and the little guys will dry up and go away.

Anyway finished my coffe and im feeling much better now……..
