California – from www.fresnobee.com – Thirteen men and women were jailed Saturday on suspicion of solicitation of prostitution, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department said.
The Sheriff’s Department joined the Visalia Police Department for an Internet-based prostitution sting. Investigators posed as individuals interested in soliciting sex, and created advertising on the Internet offering prostitution services.
Six women and seven men were arrested. They ranged in age from 19 to 59 years old, and were from Porterville, Tulare, Fresno, Hanford, Clovis, Visalia and Kingsburg, the Sheriff’s Department said.
