Los Angeles, Calif. – Vouyer Media is pleased to announce that it is following the critical and commercial success of Not Really…The Dukes Of Hazzard: A Hardcore Parody with a XXX tribute to another iconic piece of the late 70’s television landscape…Taxi.
2010 AVN award nominated parody creator and Dukes helmer Anton Slayer will be in the driver’s seat for the production, which will be shot during the last week of March on locations in and around Los Angeles.
While many details are still under wraps, Slayer has revealed that AVN, AFAA, and F.A.M.E. award winning industry veteran Ron Jeremy recently inked a deal to portray Louis De Palma, the perpetually pessimistic head dispatcher of the Sunshine Cab Company. It’s the role initially made memorable with Emmy winning gusto by Danny DeVito.
For the project’s female lead, Slayer has secured the services of multiple Adam Film World and F.A.M.E. award winner Courtney Cummz, who will breathe sexy new life into the role of lovelorn Elaine O’Connor Nardos, Louis’ not-so-obscure object of desire.
In addition to Jeremy and Cummz, Slayer looks forward to adding several more high profile names to the cast in the weeks ahead. “We will definitely be announcing some provocative casting choices,” the director candidly reveals. “This will be a great opportunity for the press to profile several A-list performers on the same production.”
He’s also quick to point out that the same attention to detail that made Not Really…The Dukes Of Hazzard: A Hardcore Parody a hit with fans and critics alike will be on display in his newest creation. “I’m a huge fan of the original series, and I want to do justice to it,” he adds with an almost palpable enthusiasm. “From the vintage Checker cabs to Louis’ caged-in dispatch office, everything that made the original so unique will be replicated here.”
