The Sex Expo 2027 has released its schedule, detailing two days of educational sessions, interactive workshops, and expert-led conversations at the JW Marriott L.A. LIVE from January 7-10.

Consumer-focused programming, sponsored by Chaturbate, is scheduled for Friday, January 8, and Saturday, January 9. These sessions will cover topics including relationships, communication, pleasure products, kink, and sexual confidence.

Friday's Programming Highlights

Friday's schedule begins at 3 p.m. with Melanie Rose, an interior designer, sex educator, and Netflix personality. Rose will present "Design Your Desire: How to Build a Sex Room," offering creative approaches to designing an intimate space. Rose is also known for hosting "How to Build a Sex Room." Her session, also referred to as "Room for Pleasure: How to Create a Sexier Space," will explore transforming a bedroom into a space that reflects fantasies, including setting the mood with décor and incorporating erotic art, toys, and furniture.

Following Rose's presentation, at 4:15 p.m., "Kink & Fetish Curious: Fantasies, Boundaries & Trying Something New" will introduce attendees to consensual exploration. At 5 p.m., "The Pleasure Conversation: How to Ask for What You Want" will take place.

At 6:15 p.m., pleasure products expert Alicia Sinclair will lead "What Does That Do?", an interactive workshop focused on sex toys and various forms of stimulation. Goody Howard will conclude Friday's programming at 7 p.m. with the hour-long "RIDEology" workshop, designed to help attendees build confidence and improve technique.

Saturday's Programming Highlights

Saturday's schedule commences at noon with "Modern Love: Keeping the Spark & Defining Your Relationship." At 1:15 p.m., Devil Mask Studio will conduct a shibari knot-tying demonstration.

At 2 p.m., Jeremy Goodman will present "The Men’s Sexual Playbook: Performance, Desire & Better Sex," addressing common concerns related to male sexuality. Goody Howard will return at 3:15 p.m. for "PlayDate," an interactive exploration of flirting, chemistry, and connection.

The program will conclude at 4 p.m. with a keynote address by sex and relationship expert Dr. Tara. Dr. Tara will share research-backed insights aimed at creating more satisfying intimate experiences.

XBIZ Associate Publisher Sara Ramirez stated that the schedule captures elements that make Sex Expo a welcoming and exciting event, including expert-led education, candid conversations, and interactive experiences. Other guest speakers listed for Sex Expo include Adonis BC Okonkwo, a writer, digital content creator, photographer, porn performer, and teacher whose work focuses on free uncensored expression, particularly of Black trans bodies through a Blaqueer perspective. Anna Lee, a technical co-founder and head of engineering at Lioness, a sexual health startup known for its smart vibrator, is also a featured speaker. Lee was previously a mechanical engineer at Amazon and has spoken at various universities and events. April Davis, described as a speaker, creative consultant, visual artist, and wordsmith, is also listed among the guest speakers.

The Sex Expo is described as an event dedicated to opening up an unfiltered conversation about sex, sexual health, and intimacy to a consumer-facing, mainstream audience. A previous iteration, Sex Expo New York, was held at the Brooklyn Expo Center (72 Noble Street, Greenpoint) on Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. That event was presented by Title Sponsor Chaturbate and offered free entry to attendees courtesy of Registration Sponsor WeVibe. The New York event featured product launches and demos, sexpert-led seminars and workshops, and other events for singles and couples of all genders and sexual orientations. Attendees of the New York event were granted entrance into an exhibition area showcasing over 100 sexual health and wellness brands.
