Award Ceremony Details
The inaugural Adult Game Fest awards ceremony took place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 5 p.m. PDT. The live ceremony was held within the Utherverse social metaverse platform, originating from Vancouver, British Columbia. Following the awards presentation, DJ Psywentz continued the celebration at an afterparty.
Anna Lee, Adult Game Fest Executive VP, commented on the historical lack of opportunities to unite the adult gaming community and celebrate its work on this scale. Lee noted that the winners demonstrate the category's progress, encompassing narrative craft, gameplay systems, VR, publishing, and independent studios. The awards were established to provide a dedicated stage for this work.
The awards included several juried categories, alongside two special awards. The People’s Choice Award was determined by live voting from Adult Game Fest attendees throughout all three days of the convention. The Next Big Adult Game Award, presented by Nutaku, was based on the results of The Next Big Adult Game pitch contest, which was scheduled for Friday, September 25, at 2 p.m. PDT.
Award Recipients
Caribdis received the top honor, with its title Eternum named Adult Game of the Year. Caribdis also secured the Excellence in Storytelling award for Once in a Lifetime.
Remtairy's Karryn’s Prison was recognized with the Excellence in Gameplay award. The Excellence in Art and Design award went to Incontinent Cell for !Ω Factorial Omega: My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend.
Eek! Games' House Party earned the Best Voice Acting/Vocal Performance award. Dot Stock Games received the Innovation Award for Goblin Hole, while MeshedVR's Virt-a-Mate/VaM2 was honored with the Immersive Experience Award.
Zanith was named Rising Star Developer, and DrPinkCake received the Developer of the Year award. Nutaku was recognized as Best Publisher. The Industry Pioneer Award was presented to Illusion.
Anaximanes Entertainment's Anaxverse won the People’s Choice Award.
