Industry members who are registered with XBIZ.net can access the pre-nomination portal. The deadline for these entries is September 30, 2026. Pre-nominations for fan-voted categories will open on September 15, 2026, and close on October 15, 2026.

To be eligible for nomination, movies and pleasure products must have been released between October 1, 2025, and September 30, 2026. Submissions require links to digital content, marketing materials, or website access information via the entry forms.

Background of the XMAs

The XBIZ Awards, rebranded as XMAs Awards from 2025 onwards, are presented annually to recognize individuals, companies, performers, and products that contribute to the adult film industry's growth and success. XBIZ publisher and founder Alec Helmy described the awards as originating from the industry's desire for a professional and inclusive awards event. The awards have been compared to the Golden Globes in the international film and TV industry.

Organized by the adult industry trade magazine XBIZ, the awards were first presented in 2003. Nominations are submitted by clients, and winners are determined by votes from XBIZ staff, industry colleagues, and participating organizations. Initially, the awards focused on achievements in the online adult industry, with video categories added in recent years. As of 2014, the number of categories had expanded to over 150.
