A Good Story is Worth Repeating: The Bailing Begins as Paul Fishbein Leaves AVN; DP Scuffle Continues

As Bette Davis says in the movie All About Eve, “Fasten your seat belts. It’s going to be a bumpy night.”

The month of June is about to begin and from the looks of it we’re going to have 30 of those evenings for the adult industry with a host of surprise announcements and departures coming our way. And it’s only just begun.

On May 27th while making some Tarot card predictions, I wrote the following: “While I’ve been seeing for the longest time that Paul Fishbein would be leaving AVN, a source told me this week it was now a fact.”

Another source contacted me after I posted that reading. It was The Grand Vizier. The Vizier says while Fishbein has been working on an interim, consultant’s basis at AVN, he’s also been working on an exit strategy by telling people he expects to be out of there soon enough.

With the condom issue heating up and a meeting scheduled June 7th to discuss the Cal/OSHA rules implementations, Vivid’s Steve Hirsh has said, “People will shoot in Europe; people will shoot in Mexico. People will go to other places to shoot, and you’ll see an industry move out of this state.”

What do you mean “people” kemosabe?

Hirsch, with these comments, has painted himself in a tactical corner. So if condoms become mandated, would Hirsch actually put his money where his mouth is by packing up and leaving his nice cush digs?

And, considering those long standing rumors that Vivid owns a piece of TMZ [hence all the publicity], it might not be very practical. We’ll keep ya in suspense.

Now that the end is near and the industry is facing the final curtain, male performer Sascha [pictured], who owns a studio in Chatsworth, is selling it lock, stock and barrel. Trust us, if that studio were doing as well as Sascha claimed it was in the press release announcing its sale, there wouldn’t be a sale.

Then, again, babysitting a studio is 24/7 work and hardly an investor’s dream considering the meager rewards nowadays. And with the real estate bust, locations are going for a lot cheaper than they used to.

And whatever Digital Playground has been telling the world at large about the “publicity stunt” involving contract girls Jesse Jane and newcomer BiBi Jones hardly seems to jibe with the bad blood that’s going on between them right now in the real world.

The fight began over two months ago during the shooting of the movie The Fighter when Jesse apparently took her role too seriously and slammed Bibi Jones’ head against a concrete wall. Bibi had a welt on her head, bruising on her legs and left the set crying. It escalated when Jesse Jane was originally supposed to do the Howard Stern show to promote the movie, but was pulled the last second in favor of BiBi.

Jane has also been posting rancorous tweets accusing Jones of hooking and having vaginitis and other STDs.

The tweets had since been taken down because Digital Playground made Jane do it. Jane has also made statements that she’ll retire from porn in September, presumably when her DP contract ends but more likely she’ll continue to work under the name Cindy Taylor.

Digital has tried to diffuse this time bomb by claiming it’s all a gimmick to promote the movie and by saying that Jane would be continuing with Digital beyond September.

But perception and reality are two different things. Jane is back to name-calling as the tweet wars continue.

Jane addresses Jones: “You’re a jealous whore who won’t ever be me.”

But Jones seems to be thriving with these exchanges.

“The last seconds are playing out on you, bag face,” Bibi tells Jesse.

“Your time has come and passed, now beat it.”

In addition, Jones describes Jesse as having pasty white skin, injected lips and face; an empty pussy, veiny tits, bubble eyes, saggy grandma skin, a cellulite riddled ass and hemorrhoids.
