Las Vegas- I grabbed a quick chat with Vicky Vette who’s signing at the Adam & Eve booth during Internext.
“You’re up for Best New Starlet, talk to me.”
“Isn’t that awesome?” said Vette “I can’t believe it.” Then for AEE, Vette said she’ll be positioned at the Metro booth.
“I came last year but I didn’t actually go to the show,” says Vette. “Last year I was really brand new. We had only been doing the adult business part time and running a construction company in Atlanta. In 2004 we only came out to LA to shoot twice. I was kind of disappointed about that but we’re going to be shutting down our business and doing adult full time because we love it.”
Vette doesn’t know if that decision entails a permanent move to L.A. or not “We’ll probably just keep going back and forth,” she says. “We have the most gorgeous house that we just finished building. It took a whole year to build it. It’s in the woods on a side of a mountain.. It’s a beautiful view with dirt roads and trees and creeks. It’s a great place to go and get your sanity back especially after you’ve been in L.A. for awhile.”
Vette says she attempts to come out to L.A. for two weeks and usually spends five or six.
“Do you have a house sitter when you’re gone those five or six weeks at a time?” I ask. Vette just laughs. “I have those great big water things sticking in all my plants,” she answers
“That would be my first concern- what do you do with all the plants,” I tell her.
“And I bring my husband and my dog. My whole world travels with me,” says Vette who tells me she’s going to start feature dancing. “I’m really looking forward to that.” But Vette doesn’t know exactly when she’ll start. “So far I really don’t know how to dance; I don’t have any costumes and I don’t have any music.”
“Three-for-three. You’re on your way,” I tell her.
“I figure I’m going to put a pole in my basement and get my shit together some time in February,” says Vette who, if nothing else, enjoys the potential of molesting her fans.
