Hillsborough, NC — The latest sex survey results from Adam & Eve and AdamAndEve.com, America’s most trusted source for adult products, are pleased to report that when it comes to “dirty talk,” most adults are all for it!
A whopping 80% of those polled admitted they engage in naughty word play during sex. With 12% of those surveyed saying it is “always” a part of lovemaking, 33% confessing they “sometimes” engage in it, and 29% “rarely” partaking, talking dirty seems to be a very acceptable part of sex.
Of the 20% who do not partake of “dirty talk,” 18% said they “never” engage in sexy talk and 2% preferred not to answer.
Adam & Eve Facebook followers answered the survey similarly; with 26% saying they “always” used “dirty talk,” 54% answering “sometimes,” 10% choosing “rarely,” and 10% responding “never.”
Dr. Kat Van Kirk, Adam & Eve’s resident sex expert, says, “Dirty talk is a great way to mix it up in the bedroom, be spontaneous and communicate exactly what you want in bed. It doesn’t even need to be much… a well placed word here or there in the bedroom can speak volumes.”

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
