AEBN is pleased to announce that it will be the exclusive VOD purveyor of Erica McLean’s upcoming new film, Alice, and the VOD giant is planning a media blitz to promote this visionary new film.

AEBN has launched banners across its network that count down to the movie’s imminent premiere, set for August 24th, the same day the DVD hits the streets. The banners lead surfers to the film’s trailer, which showcases Alice’s singular style and playful storyline.

“We have taken a mainstream, ‘coming soon’ approach to promoting Alice,” says AEBN’s Jerry Anders. “This is a fantastic film, and we wanted to give it the attention it deserved. We support our studio partners and their projects as much as we can. Alice is precisely the kind of unique film we thought would benefit from this kind of promotion.”

Alice is an erotic re-imagining of the classic story of Alice in Wonderland. In it, Alice, played by Sunny Lane, follows the White Rabbit into Wonderland, where she and the colorful friends she meets try to gain access to “The Hole,” Wonderland’s most popular night club.

As part of the promotional support for the Cal Vista release, AEBN will be utilizing the power of social media by leveraging the reaches of properties such as xPeeps and PornoTube.

The adult social networking site will be skinning out the front page, customizing profiles for stars in the movie, as well as giving users a chance to dress up their own profiles with a special Alice-themed layout choice that pays homage to McLean and co-director Carlos Batts’s unique cinematography. xPeeps recently published an exclusive interview with Erica McLean talking about the project, and one with the lead, Sunny Lane, is forthcoming.

PornoTube.com, a proven traffic generator which has helped support the launch of other major projects, will have a front page skin as well celebrating the film and directing traffic toward its support.

AEBN’s affiliate strength will be behind the push as well and exclusive Alice banners will be made available for webmasters who wish to promote the film during its exclusive run.

Along with Lane, Alice stars Evan Stone, Aiden Starr, Andy San Dimas, April Flores, Katie St. Ives, Kimberly Kane, CJ Wright, Michael Pacino, Otto Bauer and Seth Gamble, with a special cameo appearance by Nicki Hunter. The trailer is available on AEBN.net and its exclusive VOD run starts on August 24th, the same day the DVD streets.
