from www.dailymail.co.uk – Amanda Seyfried was apparently still waiting on the services of a make-up artist as she was snapped on the set of Lovelace yesterday.
The 26-year-old actress was spotted trundling around in an unbecoming robe that iconic porn star Linda Lovelace – who Seyfried is playing – would surely not have been caught dead in.
Amanda had her brunette wig in place, but was still to undergo the full transformation to shoot scenes.
The previous day the Mamma Mia! looked great as she donned a series of Seventies-style outfits to film scenes with her co-star and onscreen husband Peter Sarsgaard.
Earlier this week Amanda set about filming her fist scenes with Sarsgaard on location in Long Beach, Los Angeles.
The Hollywood stars appeared relaxed and carefree as they sat inside a convertible.
But the movie, due to release next year, will no doubt chart the troubled relationship the Deep Throat star received at the hands of her tyrannical husband and pornographer Chuck Traynor.
The 1972 movie was widely regarded as the first porn movie with an actual plot – but Lovelace later alleged Traynor had forced her to do the film at gunpoint.
She further alleged he would beat her during their three year marriage in the early Seventies and force her into having sex with other men.
Amanda was today in full costume, sporting a long brown wig, a Seventies-style dress and wedged shoe while 40-year-old Sarsgaard went shirtless, donning a pair of flared jeans.
Demi Moore is the latest big name to be signed up to the movie, playing renowned feminist Gloria Steinem while James Franco is slated for a cameo role portraying Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.
Other stars involved in the project include Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple and Hank Azaria.
Lindsay Lohan was originally slated to play Lovelace but was reportedly sacked from the role after her ongoing legal problems.
Seyfried, 26, recently spoke about her preparations for the risqué role.
She told ABCnews.com: ‘It’s going to be really hard and kind of terrifying at the same time.’
She added: ‘I do have some liberties there but I am playing someone that existed in history and had quite an established reputation for something very extreme.’
Yesterday it was revealed that Amanda has landed a part in the Hollywood version of the hit Broadway show Les Miserables.
The actress is said to have bagged the role of Cosette alongside Taylor Swift who has landed the lead role of Eponine.
British director Tom Hooper, who won an Oscar for ‘The King’s Speech’, has assembled a stellar cast for the blockbuster version of the long running stage musical.
Other stars include Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thenardier with Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen as her husband villainous Monsieur Thenardier.
Hugh Jackman has been cast as leading man Jean Valjean while action hero Russell Crowe will sing in a film for the first time when he plays police inspector Javert.
