Ariana Jollee: About the Sin City Movie

Porn Valley- I spoke to Ariana Jollee on the set of What Happens Here, Stays Here. Jollee’s telling me about some stalker who’s been leaving breathing messages on her phone. Jollee makes me swear not to give out her number to anyone. Jollee also said she wanted to make some clarifications regarding a story where she was reputed to be hooking in London and thus missed a date to direct a movie for Sin City. The movie was taken over by Jim Powers and starred Audrey Hollander.

Jollee’s explanation for missing the shooting date is an involved one. “I wasn’t hooking,” she said, wanting to make that clear. “I don’t. I fuck my fans but I fuck them for free. Jollee says part of the story is true in that she was in London for a shoot but the shoot was cancelled, that someone was supposed to pick her up at the airport but that didn’t happen. As Jollee was scheduled to return to the states she came down ill, she says. “I had the flu and a 104 fever. I missed my flight. Jollee further states that there were some issues involved in her changing her flight. Meanwhile, she went to work for a company named Relish. “Which anybody can call if they want to ask if they’re a hooking company. They’re not.”

Jollee said she also had pictures from the shoot as proof of that but did the shoot with a severe fever. “So I could get myself home.” Jollee admits that she also has issues dealing with problems and that she was really scared when she came down ill.

“And nobody could get in touch with me- I was in a foreign country. But I want to make it extremely clear that people talk a lot of shit.” Jollee will admit that she didn’t communicate properly with Sin City. “I should have and it’s all my own fault. I don’t say it’s not.” Speculation to anything of the contrary, says Jollee, stems from pure jealousy. Jollee also goes on to note that she incorporated a company in 2002 called Harder Core Productions. “I completely find it so fucking amusing that somebody’s company is called Super Core [the company belonging to Hollander’s husband, Otto Bauer]. It’s a great name, kudos to you. That’s fucking awesome.” Jollee sounded a bit sarcastic.

But Jollee says everything is fine between her and Sin City. Asked if she were going to continue to shoot movies for them, Jollee said, “We’re not at that moment in time yet to make that decision. I hope, of course, that they’ll forgive me for the mistake I made. And that’s that. I think they are understanding.”

Jollee said any agreements between her and Sin City were verbal ones. “I love Sin City. I love Scott Justice and everyone who works there. They’re all amazing to work with.”

Jollee said she’s watched the movie she made for them, prior. “It was an amazing movie and I’m not blowing shit up my own fucking ass. It was a great fucking movie.”
