Porn Valley- Arrow Productions, www.xxxdeepthroat.com and its clothing line through Kaos Market www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=20791 recently got on the cover of Head Quest Magazine.
“That’s the magazine for all the head shops,” explains Arrow’s Robert Interlandi. “That goes out to head shops and lingerie stores all across the country.”
Last week, Arrow also had a presence at The Rio in Las Vegas where there was a three-day international lingerie show complemented by a fashion show which is held the first night along with a big party hosted by Playboy.
“It was one of the largest turnouts I’ve ever seen,” says Interlandi where Arrow’s Halloween line of costuming got big play. Interlandi thinks at least 5,000 people turned out alone for the fashion show Monday night.
“Our licensed costumes did very well,” Interlandi adds, noting that Arrow also owns a lingerie store and the Vegas show affords him the opportunity of stocking the latest in dancer wear.
Interlandi recalls one incident during the show where he wrote “I Love Porn” on the dust of his car.
“Some guy pulls up to me and goes, hey, did you know somebody wrote on the back of your car? I go, yeah, I love porn. He’s like why would you write that on the back of your car? I go because I love porn. He’s like you’re crazy and he rolls up the window.”
Interlandi recalls another incident when he lived in California with his grandmother, and went to a DMV with the idea he was going to get a personalized license plate, I Love Porn, with a heart substituting for the word love.
“The woman clerk at the DMV flipped out on me,” states Interlandi. “She said it was obscene and why would I want that on my plate? She continued to say that she would never let anyone get a plate like that. And she’s like I can’t believe you’d say something like that to your grandmother. I go my grandmother knows I love porn. I’m going what’s the big deal. My family- we own a porn company. I work for a porn company. A porn company’s a legitimate business in the state of California.
“I told her you can legally shoot porn,” Interlandi continued. “I can legally sell it and I have a business just anybody else. But she’s, like, it’s offensive and I said you’re being offensive. I love my job and that’s my job.”
According to Interlandi, the clerk told him that she was going to do everything in her power to keep him from getting the plate. Interlandi then told her, fine, he’d go online to get the plate.
“And she goes, no! I’m writing a letter to the DMV right now! No one’s getting that license plate. All I wanted was a personal license plate and she’s telling me those plates are for protecting the children. She’s, like, when you get the heart, you’re giving money to protect the children. I was, I’ll give money to protect the children. Of course I want to protect the children. I wanted that damn plate.”
But Interlandi, who says the clerk was being a total bitch about the whole thing, never got it.
