Berlin- Just three weeks after his triumphant wins for Best Film and Best Director at the Barcelona Film Festival, New Sensations/Digital Sin exclusive contract director AXEL BRAUN was honored with the award for Best Film at The 2004 Venus Fair in Berlin, Germany. His epic feature COMPULSION took home the gold once again, cementing its place in Porn history as one of the all-time greatest films.

After 15 years in America, winning awards in Europe feels great!” says Italian-born Axel, who did not attend the show due to his hectic shooting schedule, “But now I’m running out of excuses with my mom for not going back home…”.

Scott Taylor, president of New Sensations/Digital Sin, apparently had no doubts: “I remember watching COMPULSION and thinking: wow…this is what an adult feature should be!”, but when asked if he expected to win, especially since he was nominated against himself, Braun replied: “You know, one of the things I’ve learned in life is to never take anything for granted, so the answer is no. Now, if you asked me if I WANTED to win…that’s a whole different story, my friend!”

A stellar year for Axel, and a well-deserved one indeed.
