According to the eBay listing -- the cocktail dress by French Connection comes with an autographed copy of a magazine Capri appeared on months later ... modeling the outfit she wore that infamous night.
Sources close to Capri tell TMZ the dress gives her bad memories -- so she wants to get rid of it ASAP ... and plans to donate part of the proceeds to Safe Passage for Battered Women.
