Cattle Call at World Modeling

Porn Valley- The news from Thursday’s cattle call at World Modeling pretty much boils down to newcomers Randi Wright and Pandora Dreams.

Bill Margold’s calling them two halves of the “Great White Hope.” Wright bears a dead-on resemblance to Courtney Cox while Dreams, much taller with succulent boobies, has dirty blond hair and a thick white smile. Wright’s first boxcover already misspells her name, while Dreams has been in the business a scant 10 days.

Then, again, Margold said he told Cameron Kane the same thing a year earlier about being the Great White Hope. “But she went out of her mind,” says Margold. “She could eat people with her eyes.” Rob Spallone agreed on the eyes part claiming that Kane had yellow ones. I suggested that might have been jaundice. “This industry used to be fun,” Margold adds. “But there’s way too much misery now.”

>Margold, by the way, is profiled in the March 25 issue of L.A. Xpress. He also tells me there will be a PAW booth at Erotica L.A., provided that he agrees to “behave.”

>Meanwhile, Spallone was being followed around Thursday morning by the camera crew from The Daily Show. I asked him what that was all about.

Spallone: They were hear this morning. Then they went over to interview the church people and Jim DiGiorgio.

Gene: What was your connection with this thing.

Spallone: “I did a show a few months back on Rob Spallone, why won’t you shoot Asian guys?”Noting that you can’t find them, Spallone said that’s the point he was trying to get across for three hours. “They were trying to make a monkey out of me. Rob, why are you prejudiced against Asian guys?” Spallone said he was nice about the whole thing. Then they called him again the other day asking about the church-thing.

Spallone: I said if you’re in the porno business and you ain’t making no money, you try anything. That’s what he [DiGiorgio] does.

Gene: If you’re doing some charitable you do it.

Spallone: Right.

Gene: And you don’t draw attention to it. What’s the idea of doing charity if you have a big p.r. splash backing you up?

Spallone: If you do it for free and want all this publicity out of it, that’s bullshit. I agree. I did it for free, I did it for free, and you want to make a big publicity stunt out of it because you can’t do nuthin’ in porn- nobody wants you to shoot because you got a big mouth? That’s what I told ’em. It’s the truth.

Gene: So what exactly was the rift between you and Jimmy D.

Spallone: We were in our office. Jim, for some reason, has no bills but never has money. And I paid Jim a lot of money. He made a lot of money working for me. He’d always borrow money and when the rent was do, I’d pay it. And he’d pay it back. He’d question me a few times: how can I owe you this? Jim, if you paid the bills, you don’t have to owe me nothing. If the rents $500 and you only have $250, and I pay it on the first $500, you owe me $250.

So if we’re shooting next week and I’m paying you $500, I’m only paying you $250. Then one morning I came in he was, like, he said something. I said say what you got to say. He’s like, ugh, you make so much money. I aid what does that mean. He said, we’re partners. I said, we’re partners? Who said we’re partners. If we were partners, when I shoot for VCA and pay you $2000, and then you charge $3,000 for editing and I pay you $3,000, if we were partners, wouldn’t I get $1500 for the editing?

He was, well… Well, nothing. You don’t want to do it, then don’t fuckin’ do it. He was, like, I ain’t gonna do it. I said fine, then I want the money that you owe me. And he yelled at me, try and collect. I lost it. I didn’t hit him. I bitched slapped him. He cried like a baby, tears running down, shaking. Big tough guy. he tells me he knows this guy and that guy, every day for eight years how tough he is. He cried like a bitch. And he only talked shit about people on that computer cause he knew me and him were friends: hey, I’m with Rob. Nobody’s gonna bother me. And he’s a bullshit artist, too. All the equipment he has it’s not his. I know whose it is. Kenny owns the editing bay. GG owns the cameras.

We got into it. You wanna talk about people? Talk to their face. You have a problem? Tell me about your problem. He made a lot of money with me. Now he doesn’t make a tenth of the money. I shot 68 movies last year. That’s the biggest year I ever had. And he lost out on all of that. I didn’t lose nuthin’. I made more money because I had a deal where, if I shot for Russ Hampshire, I had a great deal with Russ. He trusted me and he was great to me. Rob, shoot a movie. Bring it in, I’ll give you another one. If I shot a movie and finished it in a month, I got another movie to shoot.

Jim would take five months to edit a movie. Not that it needed five months worth of work. If you caught me bullshittin’ with you for four hours, talkin’ on the computer, I don’t make money when you’re fuckin’ not editing my shit. So that was that.”

>Max tells me that Team Hardcore is making plans to be in the pits at the Long Beach Grand Prix, April 16 to 18th. As always, Max plans some high-level sexual shenanigans in the pits.

> We’re told that Kitty Fox is recovering from a stroke suffered in December. She’s starting physical therapy, is speaking and experiencing some movement in her limbs.

>Anastasia Pierce who just came aboard with World Modeling about a month ago is Swiss but hardly neutral when it comes to doing bondage & fetish work. I asked Margold what his whole take was on the Taylor Sumers case and the fact that bondage played an active role in the apparent homicide. His feeling is that hardcore bondage is doomed, that this is the type of issue adult industry critics can have a field day with, even though this has nothing to do with the adult industry per se.

>Seka is going to be headlining the FOXE Awards in June and will be the target of a roast. Seka will also be at the PAW booth during Erotica L.A.

> The annual fundraising carwash/carnival for PAW will be on Saturday, May 29 on the VCA grounds. Margold is looking for volunteers to wash cars and participate in booth activities. Contact him at 818-501-6139 to sign up. Likewise, the annual bowling for scholars fundraiser will be held the following night, May 30 at the Palos Verdes Bowl at 24600 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance from 7 pm to 11pm. At least 40 performers are being sought to participate, and they should call the number listed above.

> Another relative newcomer making the rounds at the cattle call was British girl Essie Moore who just flew in and stands at least 6-foot and then some. Moore is described as very quiet but very intelligent. It was suggested that she adopt some form of Emma Peel from The Avengers as her porn name but more said it was too close to her real name.

> Brittaney Skye who continues to drop a ton of weight, was introducing her new find, Nadia.

> Trinity James, who’s absolutely adorable, was talking about having to do a speedball if she were going to take a fist up her ass.

> Ava Vincent also showed up, Her hair’s way blonder than it used to be.

>Brad Baldwin tells me that he was the one who drew my caricature which was presented to me from KSEX at their awards show last December.

> I run into Jack Spade and tell him I heard his interview on KSEX Wednesday night and was going to do a full report on it. His face turns redder than it already is.

>Jon Dough introduces me to Keith, T.T. Boy’s brother. Keith’s been in the business several years he tells me and has done maybe 300 movies. I haven’t seen Dough in ages. We chat.

Gene: You’ve been in the business as long as I have. You looked like you’re surviving. You’re looking good.

Dough: Thank you, so do you.

Gene: Nice of you to say so. Maybe we can give off a homoerotic bond here while we’re talking.

Dough: Absolutely. I’m not homophobic at all.

Gene: That’s good to know. If I put my hand on your knee I don’t want to get slapped.

Dough: My lips on your lips, man, that’s the way to go. LOL

Gene: What have you been up to?

Dough: I’ve said it so many times, I’m trying to put a new spin on it.

Gene: But who remembers the last spin.

Dough: I do, though. I’m boring myself. I’m shooting my own product now. I’m on my tenth video in my first year of business. Devil’s is distributing for me. It just says Jon Dough on the boxes, JD Productions. We’re also doing the website-thing. I’m planning on three of them. I got one up already. It’s called www.youngripeandready.com. That’s online. You can check it out. We’re accepting Visa and Mastercard, already. Then the next one I’m doing is called www.creamedcornholes.com ; then I’m going to do another one. They’re all under www.jondoughxxx.com or individually.

Gene: You sound like a monolith of Internet commerce.

Dough: You got to go to the next level, man. That’s all I’m trying to do.

Gene: How did you hook up with Devil’s Films?

Dough: I’ve known Mike Rubenstein for a long time.

Gene: He’s a good guy.

Dough: He’s always been a friend of mine. We always used to go up there to San Francisco with him and Alex deRenzy when Alex was with him in those days.

Gene: He’s probably one of the most low key owners in the business.

Dough: Right. I’m the same way so that’s why it’s perfect for me. That’s probably why you never hear about me.

Gene: No drama now?

Dough: I have none to give you, sorry.

Gene: I seem to remember some when you were with with brr, agh…

Dough: I don’t remember that. That’s too far back. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Gene: So who are you seeing.

Dough: I’m still with Cheyenne, Monique DeMoan. Her name’s Cheyenne now because she doesn’t do scenes any more. We had a little baby, 19 months old, adorable. A girl.

Gene: Has that settled you down?

Dough: I spend a lot of time with her. Business is business and family life is family life. I’ve learned to separate the two.

Gene: Let’ go back in ancient history. What brought you into the business.

Dough: I can’t remember that far back. That was 18 years ago. How does anyone remember 18 years ago. I can only remember a few pictures.

Gene: You used to work for a lot of shitty companies. I remember that.

Dough: You gotta do whatcha gotta do. That’s how everybody starts.

Gene: Your best stuff was for Video Exclusives.

Dough: I loved those guys. They were easy. In and out. They were actually what everybody’s shooting right now. They were doing it then and everybody’s doing it now. Everybody talked shit about them before, and that’s how everybody’s doing their stuff now. I actually liked Video Exclusives. You could roll in. They had that studio with all the stalls. Remember that? You could roll in there, bust out two scenes in a row. Boom, you’re gone and you have the rest of the day to do whatever. I thought they were great. For a porno actor just getting started, it was easy, it was cool.

Gene: Remember the first scene you ever did?

Dough: The first scene was a loop for someone in Jim’s office. I came to see Jim South. I answered an ad in the paper. I came in, signed up with him. The guy- you would know him- he used to do loops back in the day. Anyhow, I did a loop for him. I just went down the street here, somewhere. A little studio that he set up. It was a big titted girl. I was pretty young and the scene was about two minutes long. The same as when I do at home. After that I did a scene in Big Bear. I can’t remember the girl’s name. The same thing happened there- I popped too soon. It was for Charley Biggs.

Gene: There for awhile you were one of the go to guys for acting.

Dough: Nah..man.

Gene: You’re way too modest.

Dough: I couldn’t remember lines. I could look at a page and remember the whole page but let’s face it, porno acting is a little ridiculous. Then it got me as many gigs as I wanted for the month. It was dollars and cents. A great porno actor! Don’t fuckin’ make me laugh! You know I never believed that. You’re trying to fuck with me, man. It ain’t going to work, baby. And people thought that, too.

Gene: You taking the blue pill now?

Dough: Never. Still to this day. Ask anybody. I don’t do that. I just like to feel it. The blue pill does something to you. I tried it one time. I didn’t like it. It made my face flush. Plus you don’t feel it. I’m known for my big pop shots, even, still. And that comes from when you’re feeling it through the whole scene and you’re bringing it to the edge. You have that build up. You don’t get that when you do the blue pill. I see guys doing it. Bling. A little drop.

Gene: Do anything with your diet to enhance those pop shots.

Dough: No, man. Just eat good and get whatever exercise you can. I don’t get enough, lately. I try to go to the gym three times a week. Just take care of yourself. Don’t smoke too much.

Gene: What do you do for down time.

Dough: I was into the weekend motorcycle thing for awhile. Going out riding to the Rock Store and going on rides to Vegas. That was fun.

Gene: You’ve got that rawhide, tough guy look.

Dough: Bullshit. It’s a matter of your being on two wheels having fun. But I don’t have time now. The bikes are sitting in the garage. And I’m outside riding bicycles with the kid and stuff.

Gene: Are you going to build a family?

Dough: We’re going to try another. Two would be good then we’re going to get the tubes tied and a vasectomy. I think I’ll get my tubes tied and she’ll get the vasectomy.

Gene: That usually works out a lot better. Over the years what have been some of your favorite women to work with.

Dough: Tiffany Mynx…Monique DeMoan. Tiffany Mynx still drives me crazy. I heard she’s in town. I still like the way she looks. Girls will be lucky to hold up like she has. She’s the real deal to me, still.
