Florida – from www.dailymail.co.uk – A lap dance club has agreed to pay out $650,000 in damages to a customer after he suffered an eye injury when a stripper accidentally kicked him in the face with her stiletto.

Michael Ireland had paid a visit to the Cheetah Club, near West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2008 when he got too close to one stripper during her performance.

The stiletto heel of the woman, named ‘Suki’, punctured his eye socket and broke bones around his eye and nose.

Mr Ireland, a roofer, suffered permanent double vision as a result of the impact with his eye.

The Cheetah Club decided to settle our of court instead of risking paying more by going through with the lawsuit.

Lake Lytal, Mr Ireland’s lawyer, said: ‘When this case was first filed, many people criticised it simply because it occurred at a strip club.

‘But we feel the $650,000 settlement goes to show that this was a serious case with serious injuries.’

Last year the manager of the club, Rod Kimborough, claimed the dance had lashed out after being smacked on the bottom, WPTV reported.
