Whoever wrote this following piece fails to take into account a film Christopher Lee did over 40 years ago called Wild for Kicks aka Beat Girl. Lee plays an owner of a strip club in Soho and the original version was filled with all kinds of nudity. Subsequent VHS and DVD issues of that film have severely cut a lot of those scenes out. It was also Oliver Reed’s first film.

Despite a long and distinguished career in the big screen industry, Lee naively agreed to a small role in EUGENIE: THE STORY OF HER JOURNEY INTO PERVERSION – not realising the finished product would be an explicit adult film featuring anal sex scenes.

And Lee was horrified when a pal informed him the saucy movie was being screened in XXX cinemas throughout the Soho area of London.

He says, “Oh Eugenie. I was the narrator of a (MARQUIS) DE SADE story, PHILOSOPHY OF THE BOUDOIR. I went down for a couple of days with my red smoking jacket, delivered my stuff and everybody was very pleased.

“What I didn’t know was that when I left, they took their clothes off. Then a friend said, ‘Oh, I see you’re starring in a film showing in Soho.'”
