But Starr, with only three weeks in the business, proved that she could hang in there with the big boys and take ribbon up her ass. “I used to do the catwalk pretty good,” says Starr. “I used to do Sears-stuff.” Starr clarifies to state that she was in a fashion line geared towards women 5’7″ and under. “They’re like the real girls- like the J Lo body style. Not these little skinny girls.” Starr also mentions that she has a butt finish. “We went to a strip club the other night- me and my other friend,” says Starr. “It was so much fun. There was this one girl- I want her to do porn so bad. She could shake her butt better than I’ve seen any girl shake her butt. Like in a music video or anything.”
With that comment I ask Starr if she’s more into girls. “No, I love guys,” she says. “I’m single but I love guys. With girls it’s just butts. Some people have a foot fetish. I have a butt fetish. Starr’s decision to get in porn is based on her love for sex. “And I get paid to have sex. And one day, hey, maybe you might get a little big. I would like fame and maybe get a little bit of fortune along the way.”
Starr got some e-mails from an agent inviting her out to L.A. and see what’s what. She was working as an electrician. Starr didn’t think the invitation was real. “I’m an electrician. That’s my job by trade,” she explains. “I’m an apprentice to be an electrician. Don’t ask. I’m the girl who can go hunting and fishing and wield a four by four. I’ll do anything. I’m an athletic kind of girl.” Going from non-nude modeling to nude, Starr tried doing a shoot for an adult website and it wasn’t bad, she thought. “Should I go to California?”
Starr figured what’s the worst that could happen, that she had enough money in her bank account to cover unseen contingencies. “I could always fly back to Tampa and it would be all good.” I flick Starr’s switch on the electrician angle. She says she wants to own a topless electrician company. She’s being serious. “They have topless maid services, why not?” she asks. “They would have to be certified and what not, but in Florida all you need is a master electrician to run it with people appenticing underneath it. They’d be the ones to fix outlets, plugs, fans. It would be awesome because you’d have hot females at the same time.” But the way things are shaping up at present, Starr is putting those career goals on the back burner. “But it’s kind of interesting though,” she says. “How many girls do you know that are attractive electricians?” I tell Starr I can only think of guys with hairy buttcrack, but the female angle is certainly a possibility to mull.
“Right now I’m trying to make a little fame and fortune and help other people out,” Starr says. “I want to be like a performer but also be like a manager at the same time. And some girls are, like, I don’t want to say that I’m a dirty little slut. It’s your role. Your character. Pornstars, we’re all characters. Starr always watched porn while growing up. “But I’d always get caught,” she laughs. “I’d be the one watching porn at night and mom would come in, like, what are you doing? I’m watching the Discovery Channel.” Starr says she was the preppy, popular girl in school. “Everyone wanted to be my friend but at the same time everyone hated me. If you’re popular, then everyone hates you. But I was nice enough to everyone.” Starr found herself involved in all the activities characteristic of the pretty girl in school. “In high school I rebelled and did my little wild thing,” she adds. Starr said she did dual enrollment both for high school and college. “I’m only a few classes shy of my AA,” she says.
Starr’s first sexual experience was at 17, right before going into 12th grade. “I lost it late,” she says. “I figured I was just going to lose it. But that was a mistake. It was the worst guy. Although she has yet to do a girl-girl scene, Starr’s got that on her list of things to do. “But they won’t let me do girl-girl.” Starr remembers one girl growing up. “We were so opposite yet so insane. The sex was incredible.” Asked what made it so, Starr senses it was hatred. “Sexual frustration and tension,” she points out, noting that this is what sells a scene. Starr knew the woman from work. “I was a manager and she was my general manager,” Starr further explains. “I was working at a movie theater. We got it on in a projection booth. I took her up there. It was, like, I’m horny and we’re going to do it now.” Starr says they both got off. “I love sex and normally I can get off, and I just started squirting. They let me in and I go up to the bar to buy two bottles of water and I got kicked out. What is that? I didn’t know you had to be 21 to buy water. Nice.”
