Porn Valley- As fluffers go, Julie Robbins, who possesses a wonderful twang, was an absolute credit to the profession this weekend. Robbins flew in from North Carolina expressly for the occasion of helping her friend Victoria Givens achieve an anal gangbang record. But I think Robbins also went a long way towards achieving a solid fan base- at least as far as 101 male participants are concerned. Robbins was a very busy girl Saturday but we managed to sneak in a few minutes for a chat during some rare down time.

Robbins and Givens grew up in Wet Plains, North Carolina. “A small home town,” Robbins agrees but states that she and Givens didn’t meet until they did a shoot together called Pandora’s Box. “I walked in a room and she introduced herself. I introduced myself. I said where are you from? She told me. I about fell out. I couldn’t believe it. We’re from the same town. Never met until that day. They odds of that are like…? But we did an awesome scene.”

But Robbins notes that she and Givens attended different high schools. “We were on different ends of town.” I mention that it couldn’t be that small of a town to have at least two high schools. “We’ve got a couple of schools, but we hung out with some of the same people, hung out at some of the same places. But never met.”

Even more fascinating is the fact that Givens and Robbins wound up having the same career path. Robbins was always drawn to adult entertainment. “When my parents were out of the house I would sneak around and turn the satellite on and watch porn. Get my groove on to it. I was too young to watch it but I did it anyway. The girls looked like they were having fun. I’ve always been real sexual. I guess I was…easy,” she laughs. Robbins’ first time was at age 14.

“Of course, that’s pretty normal. But ten years ago that was pretty young.” Robbins explains that she met the guy through her stepsister. “I think I was just in a hurry to lose my cherry. I wanted to see what it was like. Everybody said it felt good. But it was kind of painful. I was really tight and it hurt. After that, man, I couldn’t stop. I loved it. I was willing to try everything.”

I asked if she was considered the high school slut. “Well…,” she hesitates. “I guess in some peoples eyes I was. I didn’t look at myself as a slut. I liked to experiment with different partners, play the field. I didn’t go ten years with one boyfriend.” Asked if she experimented with different partners, which, of course, means anal, Robbins said she’s tried it. “I didn’t do it I think until I was 17,” she says. “It was an accident. Usually that’s how it happens. I shied away from it for awhile, whooa, but I got used to it as a lot of girls do. And now it’s a breeze. I like it.”

I asked Robbins if she’d attempt a record such as the one Givens set. “I’d love to be able to but I don’t think I could,” she answers honestly. I think I’d burn out too fast. I’d love to try it but in reality I know that I couldn’t.”

Robbins began her career as a stripper. “I started in an illegal club called The Bikini Bar,” she tells me. “It was where a man could go and get handjobs. The first night on the job I wasn’t aware that’s what went on in the back there. My second night a guy went back there and got undressed. He said lay it on me. I did. No problem. And I learned a lot working in that place. We had crossdressers. We had all walks of life. We had preachers. Just every kind of individual came in there with different ideas and different ways of getting turned on. It got me ready for the industry.”

I asked Robbins if at times it went beyond handjobs. “The owner was a woman and was worried about disease and things like that. So we couldn’t do anything else.” According to Robbins, the guy would get undressed but the girl, she claims, never went further than being topless. “It’s funny. We couldn’t take our bottoms off but we could give handjobs. I don’t understand the logic.” Robbins stayed with that job six months. “Long enough to learn everything I needed to know about dancing!”

Her breakthrough in porn came, interestingly enough, in Charlotte, N.C. “You’re really not supposed to do it there,” she whispers conspiratorially. “But this guy did and he did it for a long time before he had to stop. The heat was on him so he had to stop. It was just a boy-girl amateur film. They complimented me and told me I was good. I was real vocal and I thought, man, I can do this. This is okay. I went on from there.”

Robbins notes that there’s a lot of web models out of North Carolina. “So there’s a lot of girls getting together and trading content doing shoots for their websites,” she states. “That’s real common. And there’s a lot of glamor photography, nude photography. But the films are pretty much done. No one wants to risk it any more. North Carolina’s kind of strict.”

There’s a number of girls from the business from North Carolina. “Devon Michaels lived in Winston-Salem for awhile,” says Robbins. “And from what I understand, Mercedes, too. I’m sure there’s several more. I’m horrible with names. All these girls come from North Carolina ready to rock and roll.”

Another shoot that Robbins has done is something called White Trash Babes [Babes in Pornland]. “It was shot here in L.A.,” she says. “Jewel De’Nyle directed it. She’s a really good director. I was impressed when I saw her direct. It went really smooth. It was an anal scene and it went great.” But Robbins’ first porn experience was a shoot for Vivid called Blond and Blonder. “To me it was, like, I just got here and I’m shooting for Vivid. We told blond jokes and I got to play this ditzy blond. I loved exaggerating my character to whatever extent. So I did dumb blond roles and country roles where they need a country girl. I wonder whaaaa. I’m from the woooooods I think.”

When back in the woods, I wondered if Robbins assumed standard wearing fare such as cutoff denims and straw in her teeth. “Ah went through a stge where I wore cutoffs a lot,” she says. “I remember when Daisy Dukes were really hot and that was when I was fixin’ to graduate school and I was getting by wearing them as short as I could.” Robbins readily admits to getting in much trouble during high school. “I did, man. I was in the office every day. I got sent home a lot for wearing sleazy clothes. I got smokin’ cigarettes. I got smokin’ a joint once. I had sex in the band room. I used to play clarinet.” And Robbins, for sure, has had sex in haystack. “I had a barn growing up. A lot of guys have seen my barn. I was baaaad.”

I was curious about Robbins’ band experience which she says didn’t last very long. “My boyfriend played trumpet or trombone. I can’t be sure which. I can’t remember. But it was the perfect place to do it. You had the curtains and he would bend me over standing up. He would bend me over like a podiums. They were quickies. We had to make it quick. We had ten minutes before the bell rang.”

I suggest to Robbins that her bikini bar experience would come in mighty handy during the gangbang. “The owner of that bikini bar would be proud, if she could see me” says Robbins. “I’ll have to send her a copy of this tape. She turned me out!”
