Mary Anne’s been in the business about three months and is with Redd Rose, but Mary Anne is already telling me that she may be out of this racket by August- news I did not wish to hear. Mary Anne never thought about getting into porn but her friend and roommate, Ashley Summers, got an offer to join the agency. “She wanted me to join,” says Mary Anne. Except Summers left, said Mary Anne, because porn wasn’t her thing. They’re still roommates, and Summers is Redd Rose’s assistant.

Mary Anne’s first time in front of a camera was very nerve wracking. “I was very nervous because I don’t like to be the center of attention a lot,” she says. “I’m getting used to it.” That first scene was with Bubble Gum Mike on the east coast for a government-friendly sounding website called Exploitedteens.com.

Giving me an anecdote to chew on, Mary Anne says she was flown out to New Jersey. “It wasn’t a solo scene but a POV kind of scene,” she relates. “It was in a hotel room with the camera and the guy’s hand. I was kind of nervous. I made it through and that was the first thing that came out that everyone in my town saw. It wasn’t the greatest scene of mine so I’m hoping everyone will finds others to see exactly how I perform.”

Mary Anne suspected that the scene she was shooting for Zupko will be her best, and it certainly looked that way. Mary Anne’s also on a boxcover of a Snatch movie and thinks she did a pretty good job in that as well.

Before she got into the business, Mary Anne was a waitress a year and a half at a retirement center. I’m envisioning prunes and diaper changes, but she tells me this is quite different, that this was some big deal, affluent place. “That was my first and only job,” she states. “It was very upper class. The people I served were millionaires pretty much. It was very high class.” I imagined that she got hit on constantly.

“There were a few guys that would say some funny stuff,” she tells me. “Kind of like hitting on you, but their wives would laugh about it. It wasn’t too serious.” I tell Mary Anne, trust me. They were hitting on her for real. Mary Anne says she wasn’t wearing sexy waitress attire but rather black pants and long sleeved shirts with a tie. Mary Anne loved waitressing. “But it was a retirement center, so you got to see the same people every day. It kind of got boring. And I was doing that to help pay rent and go to school. I was going to college.”

Mary Anne’s future goal is to be an architect but needs to wrap up her General Ed. courses. “Sadly enough I’m leaving the industry,” she says. “I’m retiring!” His last scene is scheduled August 9 and after that the lease ends on her apartment. “I’m packing everything and I’m moving to Texas to be with my grandparents. I’m going to school there to finish General Ed. I’m following my goal. I want to achieve it.” Her other game plan is to grab a waitressing job at a Texas steak house.

Mary Anne says she’s done anal off camera. Her first time was with a boyfriend. “We tried it out when I was in eleventh grade. It was nerve wracking also because I never had anyone touch me and try to put something in there. It worked out but it was a weird feeling. I never did it with him again. Then last year I had a really serious relationship. That’s when I really started trying it. That’s where it started feeling good. He must have known how to do it. So I figured it’s fun for me and I can do it. I might as well.”
