ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A Fairleigh Dickinson University professor was a loyal customer of a multistate Internet prostitution ring — before buying the whole hot-sex service, cops said yesterday.

David Flory, 68, who keeps a home on the Upper West Side as well as an adobe-style one in an exclusive desert neighborhood in Santa Fe, NM, ran the sleazy Hunt Club, which trolled for hookers to stock his online stable, police said.

“Once he took over, he changed Southwest Companions a lot,” said Albuquerque Police Lt. William Roseman — even adding ads from background-check Web sites like date-check.com and 411.com.

The other aging academic charged in the sin-sational case, former University of New Mexico President F. Chris Garcia, 71, made bail Thursday night.

Three other men and one woman have also been charged, and at least three other people are under investigation, authorities said.

“There are probably some very nervous people out there right now,” said Albuquerque Public Safety Director Darren White.

Flory, who is married and out on $100,000 cash bail, declined comment yesterday from Santa Fe.
