from www.necn.com – An arrest has been made in the murder of an exotic dancer in Everett, Massachusetts.
Sheila Dos Santos, 26, was stabbed 33 times according to Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone and her body was found last Friday outside her apartment building.
Antonio Marcos Ferreira, 38, was arrested Friday in Boston’s Charlestown section. He will be charged with first degree murder in the death of dos Santos. Investigators said Dos Santos had a previous relationship with the suspect, whom they alleged was waiting for her when she returned home from her job at a gentleman’s club in Stoughton last week.
“Up until around 9 months ago, they had dated for about a year and she broke off the relationship,” Leone said. “She’s been rejecting advances from him for months now, it was the rejection of those advances that led to her death.”
Ferreirra is alleged to have attacked Dos Santos, stabbing her in the front and back of the torso, according to Leone.
The suspect was to be arraigned sometime Tuesday morning in Malden District Court.
